It's hers now. It's even in her SSR support card :)

To add to this: Bakushin is Kitasan's grandfather, which is why they had that running interaction.

Wholesome fact:
At 12:00, you already know Seiun Sky from Season 1 who was part of Special Weeks "Golden Generation", but the smaller Uma trying to catch the fish is named Nishino Flower.
IRL Nishino Flower and Seiun Sky were owned by the same owner, Nishiyama, who had a deep love of them both.
Nishino Flower had a fairly great career, including 3 G1 victories, and was considered a top-tier broodmare and bred with some high-caliber stallions including Taiki Shuttle, Tanino Gimlet (Vodkas father), Agnes Tachyon and a few other legends.
Seiun Sky also had a pretty stellar career, winning 2 G2 victories (most notably the 1st and 3rd leg of the Triple Crown) but his running style was considered too incompatible with Nishino Flowers style which meant normally these two wouldn't be bred together.
Nishiyama didn't care and just wanted the bloodline of his two beloved horses to carry on, especially Seiun Sky who he worried would be forgotten as time went on, so he had them bred to ensure that Sky would have a legacy that came after. Their great grandson Nishino Daisy won a G1 race a few years ago, carrying that legacy forward.
When Nishino Flower passed away in 2020, Nishiyama had them both buried side by side at the Nishiyama Farm so that they could remain together even at the end. Characteristic of Nishiyama, their gravestones are not simply simple stones with just their names, but intricate murals with pictures of each - he truly loved these two horses and wanted their memory to be recorded long after even he is gone.

I suppose the topless trainer is like that because Mihono Bourbon took his jacket when she was acting as a trainer for Kitasan and apparently never returned it, so he just goes like that now.

first comment ever :)
but ill just say for "Prix De L'arc De Triomphe"
Japan has never won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, with their quest spanning over
57 years since the first attempt by Speed Symboli in 1969. (also has an uma design and also the grandfather of symboli rudolf). Despite numerous, often painful near-misses (second-place finishes by El Condor Pasa in 1999, Nakayama Festa (goldship's brother) in 2010, and Orfevre (also goldships brother) in 2012 and 2013), no Japanese-trained horse has won in over 57 years of competition

I really like the scene with Bakushin here. It was set up earlier in the season that Kitasan is SO sturdy that even Bakushin bounces right off when she runs into her. But this time Kitasan gets knocked down. Bakushin realizes this as we see her stop and look back with a worried expression. That was when I was properly convinced there was something more going on than just having been sick. I can't wait for next week's reactions!!
