About Roswaal's meddling with Emilia/Puck contract: What Roswaal did was make it for Puck exceedingly difficult to materialize from the crystal, until he couldn't do it on his own before Subaru forced him out. Remember the first cour when he was "gone"? That's the reason. Essentially he wanted to make Emilia depressed and force her to rely on Subaru, in turn having Subaru only focus on saving her. Others have commented about Elsa not being an actual vampire, but to reiterate, her regeneration is due to a curse, which turns one into a mindless husk with just the intent to kill, but she kept her mind intact. Her regeneration does have a limit, specifically if killed multiple times in succession over a short period of time, that's exactly what Garfiel did, nothing really to do with the neck bite, it's just symbolic. In the novel she didn't die to being crushed, her upper body turned into the husk, which crawled after Subaru in the burning mansion, where she eventually burned down with the lion mabeast.

That she chose to linger in the pain not healing to feeling pleasure and that one moment led to her downfall.

It's actual love since she wasn't coerced into loving him, and had free will to leave the mansion whenever she wanted, but chose to stay with him. Roswaal isn't forcing them at gunpoint to stay with them lol

For Roswaal I can kinda see why he loves Echidna and does what he does, specially with some theories and lore behind it. Great reaction though!

2025-06-10 16:43:15 +0000 UTCFortuna gave us lots of facts/hints about Emilia's parents as well as inferences from those that are good to have in mind before speculating: She said multiple times Emilia got her purple eyes and also her hair color from her brother/Emilias father, so Emilia's mother must surely have different colored eyes/hair. Fortuna also mentioned Emilia's gentle eyes being a feature she got from her mother, whereas everyone on Fortuna's side of the family has mean eyes. We know the barrier only affects people with a perfect 50/50 mix of human and demihuman blood, and Emilia was affected so this confirms she is indeed half elf and not just called that while actually being like a quarter elf or something. It's fairly safe to assume Fortuna's brother was a full elf like her, meaning Emilia's mother must've been a full blooded human. Two different witches have also called her witch's daughter. Meaning her mother is by all likelihood a Human Witch with gentle eyes and hair and eye colors different from Emilia's.

2025-06-10 15:56:30 +0000 UTCI'm not sure that that kind of math works like that. Was it confirmed that Emilia's parents are a full elf and a full human, or that Emilia is exactly a half elf? As far as I know, half elfs could be like, 30% human and 70% elf. At least in other settings, I don't know in this world.

2025-06-10 15:07:11 +0000 UTCDay 54 of telling you guys that Satella can't be Emilia's mother since Satella is a half-elf and Emilia is a Half-elf. Since Emilia's Father is Fortuna's brother, so a full elf , the math don't add up. So Emilia's mother is a human. Now since Echidna called Emilia "witch's daughter" we know that one of the witches , and one of the human one is Emilia's mother (Sekhmet, Carmila, Echidna, Typhon,Daphne, Minerva). By Process of elimination: - Typhon (pride) and Daphne ( Gluttony) are children (or at least have the bodies of children),those 2 can't be Emilia's mother. -Echidna seems to hate Emilia so she's probably not the one It leaves the 3 others. Aside from that , great video as usual! I was waiting a lot for episode 23 so i'm really happy. Keep up the good work!
