Betty remembering Ram is cut content?! isn't that insanely important information?

Finally finished the cookie, took me a couple of days, but long discussions and theory crafting is what I'm here for.
Anyway, to address a couple of questions you had during the discussion:
The blue glowing stone: it's a pyroxene crystal that contains mana, it has a variety of uses, such as a power source in order to avoid wasting your own mana, or a spell can be implanted in them, which in this case was teleportation when it comes in contact with the Sanctuary's barrier.
The barrier itself: mixed bloods that come in contact with the barrier lose consciousness, but they never wake up only when exiting it.
You talked a lot about Clairvoyance, and I think you have it confused with something else. Ram can use clairvoyance, which is an old Oni art, that allows one to see what others see, it does have some recoil on the user though. But the ability to share senses and feelings that Ram and Rem have with each other is called Synesthesia.
Also, a common misconception people have when watching the anime is thinking that Beatrice gets weaker outside the library, she doesn't. A bit of season 1 cut content (namely episode 23) is that Betty remembers Rem, meaning gluttony's authority didn't work on her, that's because the library is an isolated pocket dimension.

You're doing great understanding the events in general, at least much better than others, but you are confused about certain minor details that are kind of muddying the waters and can lead to more confusion in S2. The horrible horrible CR translations don't help either unfortunately. So don't be afraid to ask questions and I'm sure someone can clarify without spoiling.

The thing about Roswaal talking about the Alliance with Crusch is referring to cut content from S1. Rem reveals in S1 cut content that her real objective for staying in the capital was to negotiate an alliance with Crusch, and that Roswaal ordered her not not to tell Subaru about it unless he himself asks about it, in which case she was told to follow his lead.
Elsa did time it to his return the first time. It's simpler than you think. He arrived at the village first and spent some time there before going to the mansion. "Timed to your return" might just mean just in time for you to see it.

Having watched your early season 2 reactions I can tell there is some confusion because some content with crucial info was cut, thus some of your theories are spiraling somewhere unknown. Season 2 is likely to get you even more confused because it suffered the most from content, so I'll add some extra info here:
Petelgeuse is a spirit possessing people, he was able to possess Subaru because of his high spirit affinity, forcing a one-way contract.
Gospels can only be read by their owners, to others the text looks like gibberish. Gospels are supposed to guide the owner to whatever their wish is, but the instructions are very vague and can be easily misinterpreted.
Some early season 2 stuff:
The majority of the world knows only the Witch of Envy, traces of other witches were erased from history (nothing to do with gluttony in case you're thinking it).
The trial rejects those who are not mixed blood, with the force used to push people back depending on the strength of one's gate, that's why Roswaal suffered severe injuries when he tried to brute force enter.
Subaru did ask Echidna a bunch of important questions, but she had no answers to those, because she has little info on the specifics of the events after her death.
Will probably post more stuff as the story progresses, let me know if you don't want these little tidbits
(I hope you don't mind though, because some are really important to the story)

Ngl i think subaru loves cookies... anyway.... Loved the reaction!! Also if you'd like to make sure you get the right subtitles for the episodes, i highly suggest to stay away from sights like Crunchyroll. Especially in Season 3, since they have gotten subs wrong in EVERY episode there, and they've gotten MANY subs wrong here in Season 2 too... So if it's possible, I suggest you should watch Re:Zero using Muse Asia subtitles. They are the better alternatives and the easiest ones to get. Because it's blocked out of many countries outside of Asia, I suggest using a VPN and changing your location to Singapore, then clicking on the playlist in order to access the videos. It's on YouTube too so it's the best way to watch it in it's full glory. Here is the link to the playlist too:

Also last bit of information, if you're reallyyyy loving Re:Zero and want to know more about cut content between each episode (and get the details you need to theory-craft properly with the correct amount of information that you should be having at this point in time), then I suggest you look at Echidnut's Season 2 cut content videos. Each of them talk about very important cut content that needs to be known (halfway into Season 2, there is MAJOR cut content that is VITAL for the story, that was cut out of the anime so this is pretty important imo. Season 1 also had some MAJOR cut content with some characters too.) On top of all of this, he's incredibly funny so it should be entertaining to watch, as well as fans of both your channel and Re:Zero would love to watch this! So if you're interested, here's a playlist for Echidnut's Season 2 Cut Content videos:

That makes a lot of sense, appreciate the explanation. One thing that doesn't sit right with me is, if she's going to willfully go with them to the sanctuary, she's not really abiding by the spirit of the vow. She is in some way holding to the letter of the vow, but when she agreed that she would not reveal information unless forced, she has in effect, agreed that she would protect the information to that degree. Therfore by allowing herself to be easily coerced, by said alleged force, I feel in part she is still going against the very idea and degree of the vows intention, which feels dishonest to the person she made the vow to. So then it's essentially not keeping the vow and as well enabling the unraveling of it.

Regarding Frederica's vow, I think what we're supposed to take from that is Frederica was made to take a vow to not reveal anything of what she knows of what's going on. The only way to do so, is to bring it out of her by force.. by dragging her back to the Sanctuary and having her spill the beans. That seems to be the loophole that Ram and Frederica are aware of, which Subaru quickly realised too.
Since we see that Frederica seems to be under the control of this vow to this person, she is not a bad person. So of course she is agreeing to being "forced" to return to the Sanctuary with them. That is what I think is going on. Frederica is essentially of her own free will agreeing to come back to the Sanctuary to spill the beans, under the pretense of being forced to. Since Frederica otherwise has no other way to tell them what she knows.
This should convey just how IMPORTANT promises, vows, pacts and contracts are in the world of Re:Zero. It wasn't just an Emilia thing or a spirits arts user thing. Its a world culture thing. Promises are taken extremely seriously in this world. Hence why Frederica is not budging on not telling them. Cos its according to her vow. They have to go through this tedious loophole when she could've just told them here in the Mansion. That's a fundamental cultural difference Subaru as a person from Earth has to these characters in this world.
Subaru has no problem breaking promises if its something he considers extremely important depending on context of the situation, which is what you or I would consider acceptable. But in the norms of this world of Re:Zero, that's a big no-no. Promises and vows are a ride or die deal.

"Two maids and one shut-in, it was supposed to be timed to your return."
My interpretation of that is Elsa was hired to kill the two maids and a shut-in, ready for Subaru to discover the bloodbath that's already happened when he returns to the Mansion. But because of Subaru's Return by Death, he returned sooner than expected.
I also think that line may indicate that Subaru isn't the "shut-in" Elsa was speaking of. If we're to take Subaru out of the equation then, I would think Beatrice next fits the "shut-in" description most. As the person who keeps herself hidden away in the Forbidden Library.
So if we take that implication into consideration.. that would mean Elsa was hired to kill Frederica, Petra and Beatrice for Subaru to bear witness to.
