You wanted to know about other OVAs, so if you guys continue to watch Mushoku Tensei after the end of season 1, there is an OVA you need to watch before season 2 called "Episode 0 - Guardian Fitz". Also, great discussion, guys! Lots of good speculation, including catching that Rudeus has different morals about killing people than the majority of this world right at the end.

By introducing herself to Therese as a Superd, someone who the Temple Knights would be hostile towards, despite having none of the racial traits of a Superd demon. Therese assumed that Eris didn't want a reward for saving such a notable person, or to be involved in the situation any further. The Laplace War in which Ruijurd fought 400 years ago was against the human nations in an attempt to win rights from them. Another great reaction and discussion guys. Oh and you are having a hard time remembering any demons in the Asura kingdom because aside from Roxy there weren't any. Sylphiette was bullied because of her green hair as a "possible" demon. Roxy also mentioned the Ranoa University of Magic as a special place where all races were welcomed as long as they had the desire to learn.

When Harry Grimor was a prelate he fell in love with a halfling woman and she bore him a son, That son later grew married and had Cliff, at the time of Cliff's birth an internal power struggle was going on and both of Cliff's parents were killed. To keep Cliff safe, Harry allowed Cliff to go to the orphanage and did not reveal his own relationship to the child. When Cliff turned 5 having secured his power and position Harry adopted Cliff and began training him. Cliff's true relation to the Pope is a secret even in the Church. Cliff's training was rigorous, and in a few short years Cliff became Advanced Rank in Healing, Detoxification, Divine Strike, and Fire Magic. He also reached Intermediate rank in Wind, Water, and Earth magic. Cliff grew arrogant, and stopped paying attention to his tutors. Though he knew what was expected of him as a foster child, he longed to become an adventurer. LN volume 5 Interlude Eris the Goblin Slayer. The current power struggle in Milis is between the Pope and an Archbishop. Eris unintentionally tipped the scales without even knowing it. There are 3 Knight Orders in Milishion: The Cathedral Knights who defend the nation, they wear white. The Missionary Knights who act as foreign mercenaries and evangelists, they wear silver. And the Temple Knights who wear blue and stamp out heretics. Rudy's Aunt Therese Latria is the only survivor of the group tasked with defending the Blessed Child, a candidate for the next Pope.

And I'm with Graham, Goblin Slayer PTSD is real thing. It's most insane first episode of a series I've ever seen, and not in a good way.

2025-02-26 14:52:03 +0000 UTCCliff was so in his own head when Eris was explaining things about Rudy. He completely missed her say “he’s smaller than me” and imagined Rudy being taller than her. A great show vs tell example that this anime tends to do very well. Also, since the episode completely skipped it, shortly after the gang arrived in Millis, Rudy met Therese at some point and discovered she was his aunt. She’s Zenith’s sister. The anime lightly hinted at it in Paul’s letter in the intro of ep 11 where he says “Millis is Zenith’s homeland”. But in the LN there’s this whole meeting with officials and Therese being clingy with Rudy and doting on him as a loving aunt. She also hits Rudy with something along the lines of “You’d be cuter if you kept your mouth shut”. Y’all know he be saying some wild things.
