Well then, sounds like you've got a strong character established - flirty party girl who doesn't seem serious compared to her more professional sister, but very good at what she's good at and eager to prove herself - especially when she gets to, in her own way, 'fangirl' over her favourite heroines

2024-12-23 22:55:20 +0000 UTCHonestly, I feel that could be part of the fun dynamic between Mariko and her sister - given her sister's line, feels it isn't the first time she's walked in to see Mariko undressed like that. Can imagine Mariko as the casual party girl, often wasting the day in her bikini by the pool or other non-serious things, while her sister is utterly and completely professional. Except when one of Gotham's heroines is captured, her sister knows exactly who to give them to and Mariko proves not to be a pointless layabout. It could be great - the highly professional Yakuza sister and the seemingly spoilt sister who lazes around all day then proves just why she's a valuable contributor. And given some of the sexy stuff - especially in part two - I can also imagine Mariko likes dressing appropriately when she has a heroine to play with. If she's so willing to unzip Canary's costume or step on her like that, I can imagine she likes to dress down into something sexy when it is time to do her job. It could even create a fun comic - she's fully dressed when she gets Batgirl delivered to her, so she checks her bonds then leaves the room to get ready, leaving Batgirl alone to squirm helplessly and wonder what Mariko's doing to prepare. Then Mariko returns in her bikini or fancy underwear...

At least, not until she gets a couple of opportunities to be reacquainted with Gotham Hospitality. Let's hope she'll join Babs and Dinah for some damsel in distress soon And I really hope Mariko returns as a villain soon. She's so much fun. Full of personality, really fun and playful, and fills out a bikini well. Exactly the sort of bad guy you want to be undressing and tying up cute superheroines. I do love that twisted fangirl aspect - makes a great villain. Hope she comes back soon! It's so unfair to dangle the promise of playing with two Batgirls only to take it away in the last minute. She's more than deserved the opportunity
