Uhh, kickass we never really got a full confirmation that Mordecai and Margaret met each other in high school. If they did met at each other’s in high schools and have become friends since then, that would mean Mordecai is someone who has waited for 8 or more years to gather enough courage to tell how he truly feels about Margaret, which would be very unusual to think about.
