Poll: Non-Erotic Story Importance

Hello all!

Still working on the game and getting pretty close to finalizing everything and getting the Patron version out the door.

In the meantime, I figured I'd ask a question to all followers: how important do you consider the story of the adult games you play to be? For me, the story matters a good deal because if I just wanted art, I'd simply just go to an image hosting website and find plenty. However, I've intentionally limited how much I write in a story sense for the game so that players who don't care for it aren't forced to hold the skip button ad nauseum. I want to be clear: when I say "story" I strictly mean the overarching non-erotic elements of Silk's journey, not the "story" of erotic scenes, which we likely all agree are important.

I have no delusions of grandeur and understand that people are playing this for the erotic content, but I am interested to see if there's more I can do to make a more "complete" package for players who want it. Therefore, I want to set expectations about what would happen based on which choice wins.

Option #1: I will focus a lot more on the non-erotic story, working to provide interesting situations and progression throughout the game. It would be much more of a centerpiece than an afterthought.

Option #2: I will focus a little more on the non-erotic story, but not let it take the spotlight away from the erotic scenes.

Option #3: This game was initially written to be playable without encountering any erotic scenes (with the exception of the first Scorpion encounter) - If this wins, I would reshape future story elements to be inherently more erotic and, therefore, unavoidable.

Option #4: As a story is still important to me as the writer, I would basically continue as I have been. There wouldn't be more or less story involved.
