There was a place in Ft Myers FL that rewound motors. They did a giant ventilation fan motor for me. But that was in 1991.

Old Crow Bourbon

So good to get a new video I love what you do and I find you hilarious! Look forward to more whenever you want to share!

Lorrie Mussett

Sounds like a new Patreon level is in order

david brown

Amazing. Me thinks this is your sign to finally restore a new lathe for yourself. Make it a two-parter. I will light candles whilst watching.

Driver

I needed this video so much. Thanks for the content. Very talented and skilled, I love how thorough you are. Keep it up.

Evan Lacks

Anyone else sing, "this is stuck, this is stuck. This is stuck, this is stuck", during the intro? Originally from the tamper video

Brent Goodell

Interesting!

Hand Tool Rescue

Exactly. Luckily I didn't damage anything internally.

Hand Tool Rescue

Thank you!

Hand Tool Rescue

I actually still doesn't make sense because when you move the machine forward, it unthreads inself.

Hand Tool Rescue

Odd, I usually adjust all that enough.

Hand Tool Rescue

I spent ~2000 hrs on this engine. I'm not even joking.

Hand Tool Rescue

It's possible.

Hand Tool Rescue

Every time.

Hand Tool Rescue

ALWAYS!

Hand Tool Rescue

I was always dead.

Hand Tool Rescue

I probably did. I called EVERYWHERE. They were all backed up for months.

Hand Tool Rescue

On it!

Hand Tool Rescue

It's apparently 350lbs haha

Hand Tool Rescue

what a beast. guessing golf courses where there was room to turn around..have you weighed it? google sucks now with the ai and all, trying to find info on old '20-30's ac motors, latest free CL haul is a 90 yr old lathe with a motor that works in one direction, but not the other, unless you hand start it backwards, then seems to run fine..anyone reads this and has a suggestion would be appreciated.

19 hours of you yelling at the clouds sounds like some of the best sleep relaxing sounds

James Holmes

Have you ever tried to reach out to Morris magneto here in the Tampa Fl area? Eric from FnA bought them and I know they work on old magnetos.

Jeremiah Cawthon

I was beginning to wonder if you had just... died, man. Perhaps that would have been your preferred outcome? She purr tho, can't wait to see the grassification.

Huge big nut guy

Brassification is a thing of beauty.

Patrick Rainville

chemistry is a cruel mistress....

Clifton Ballad

Martin Burkert

Martin Burkert

Would love to see!

Marco

Awesome, now the extended version on a journal mode with all the frustration. 35 hours director cut and no bleep over

Raul Ramos

First, thanks for the new video! I'm always excited to see the newest project. I had some trouble with volume on this video. Sometimes your narration was drowned out by the background audio and then with the differences in volume between hand tools, hammers and die grinders, I was frequently turning it up and down.

Brian Fisher

Oh my, yet another absolutely awesome restoration! Bit of a sacre bleu-cheese moment that you didn't know or remember that spinny-roundy things are often reverse-threaded. I'm reminded the hard way with much cursing!

Steve Z

Follow-up: the steel, green, copper pipes & brass *is* glorious!

John willis

Like something out of a Stephen King short story!

Allen Carter

Yay Newburgh!

Bill Braine

About the tiny crack on one of the wires in the magneto, since the voltages coming out are in the kV range, is probably arced over inside and you didn't get an arc at the spark plug end.

Christos Oscar Kambiselis

That beast looks like a machine from Machinery Restorer’s nightmare! It’s green, so it can sneak up on unsuspecting lawnmower restorers easily. the handle reminds me of the slope & rice field berm offset mowers here in Japan. The two paint colors - old dark and new light green paint - are also on the noodle cutters; the old ones seem so much darker than the ones grandpa roughly cleans up and tries to sell at the flea market.

John willis

Haha one day.

Hand Tool Rescue

You'll finally be able to mow the 20,000 acre family farm!

Woodhead Works

+56min?! Can't wait. I was just thinking last night that a nice long HTR video would really hit the spot.

Christoph Jones
