Katya “Work” Outfit Poll
Added 2024-01-31 19:14:22 +0000 UTCHowdy! This is the poll that will decide what outfit Katya will wear when she works, her “uniform”.
I’ll probably use all three of her outfits to spice things up, but the one that will win this poll will be the one she’ll wear for the majority of her screen time in her shop.
You can read more about her outfits in my latest progress report, but basically Katya does three major things:
- Showcases and promotes the Augmentations - She has to wear as little as possible (Model)
- Sells augmentations to people in need and - She has to look professional (Seller)
- Installs augmentations into people and - She has to dress accordingly (Mechanic)

There definitely will be clients that just come to ogle and get too handsy (without even buying anything). It looks like Kate will be wearing the mechanic outfit while at her shop, which comes with that bra/leotard combo. So the scenario you’re proposing is possible.

What if there's one (or more than one) client that likes to get very "hands on" and that client shows up at the shop when she isn't in the Model outfit (and would be wearing a bra at said time) demanding a "demo"?

I think I messed up explaining how this will work - All those interactions you already had with Katya while she’s in her shop and all her future interactions require her to wear something and I thought she should wear a uniform. I only mentioned her doing different jobs at her shop to justify the existence of each outfit, I have no intention of making her switch clothes while she works - a uniform is a uniform, she’ll have to wear one. When I mentioned that I will use all outfits, I didn’t have anything specific in mind - maybe she’ll wear the suit while taking Kira out on a date, maybe she’ll wear it elsewhere. I just don’t want this art to go to waste, so I intend to use it all at some point. So, in short - you’re picking what she’ll always wear while she’s at work, the losers of this poll will have brief appearances in other parts of the game.

From the description it looks like each outfit has a place and a reason to be in certain scenes and she is going to be using all three outfits accordingly...She's not going to be wearing any of these outside of work and inside of work she is not going to be doing anything other than modeling, selling or installing for which the outfit is already defined. Which is good! Its great that we get to see all three of the outfits...but what are we voting for?
