Thank you!

Those handles were masterpieces! I love all the objects of your restorations, but this one looks particularly well designed and well-made, right down to the fasteners. I hope Dave Richards saw this video as he runs an active, steam powered, belt-driven machine shop. What am I saying. I'm sure you know all about Dave Richards.

Jeffrey R. Broido

Now you can have your own line shaft!

Felix

Wow that was a lot of effort just for that handle. Worth it tho!

Felix

Hey! Using a pin punch as a pin punch! That rotating vise is pretty sweet!

Felix

FINALLY ! Another video ! Thank you from France !

Thank you! I should probably do that soon!

Hand Tool Rescue

1) Glad you are back! 2) Love the shirt! Lots of people get Teespring to make/distribute their shirts so it doesn't take time from their channel. I'd rather see your vids than get a shirt ... though both would be great.

Enjoy and relax.

It's getting there, thanks!

For the first time on film, I had to de-rust the parts first, just to see where paint was and wasn't. There was so much paint loss in areas that it would have been really hard to tell if a part was painted a certain way if I didn't have a better look with the rust removed. Sandblasting first would have messed this up.

Hand Tool Rescue

Would have never thought of corroding the steel pin to get it out, genius!

Planky

What's the benefit of evaporust if you are going to sand blast the parts?

Planky

You don't have massively wide belt attire?

Hand Tool Rescue

Haha, I only made a handful. I should make some more then.

Hand Tool Rescue

Belt doesn't go with anything I wear, but nice return to the living!

ChuckD

Yes, I want an official Hand Tool Rescure t-shirt! Please! Take ma money!!!

Haha, true. They are usually more dangerous than this one.

Hand Tool Rescue

Well, huh... I always fashioned you as one of the bad guys. Like the doctor who fixed up John Wilkes Booth, you repair old tools so that they might murder again! I guess what they say is true, no one is the villan in their own story.

Erich Keane

Yesss, perfect way to end a rough day.

Was wondering if you were going to post another vid. Hope the new shop is coming along well!

Not that it means much, but you know what I mean...
