Brass would be weaker, but I am not sure by how much.

Hand Tool Rescue

Any mechanical downsides to the brass nut vs the steel one? Will the brass one be susceptible to stripping if you over torque?

Shao Zhang

Too bad the shipping abroad is so high. Kind of prevents me from getting one.

dreamer

No delay, your should ship today actually!

Hand Tool Rescue

Ordered on 13 May (order #20), paid then, still no shipping notice, receipt said 7-10 days for shipping duration. Is there a delay?

James Rushing

How's the sale going?

Mmmm... Sounds good!

Soon!

Hand Tool Rescue

Yes sir. Order # 55 here

Jeremy Kearney

Haha, definitely rolling in these right now. Is your order number below 400?

Hand Tool Rescue

Im foaming at the mouth over here. I neeeeed that wrench. All I do is lie awake at night wondering, is she ok?, Did it get intercepted by a sascwatch?, Is HTR just rolling in a bin of these like Scrooge McDuck? I need to know!! In all seriousness, thanks for the response.

Jeremy Kearney

Should start shipping this week.

Hand Tool Rescue

Anyone got a shipped email yet?

Jeremy Kearney

We are up to 1700 wrenches!

Hand Tool Rescue

god, whats the current order counts up to? if carsons #925, thats WAY beyond the original 500. holy crap. lol i hope HTR is pleased but this may be his shipping nightmare too!

Aaron Greene

Wow thanks auto correct I meant wonderful*

Just got mine order 925 so it’s gonna be awhile till I get to lay my hands but I’m ok with that it’s amazing what you do and I hope you not only break even on the cost to make these wrenches but I hope you have plenty left over to keep making sounder remakes of old tools keep up the fantastic work. Do you sell the other restorations? Or do you hide them in the man cave? Lol

Ordered it!! Many moons came and went...does it come with another sticker of HTS?

Yoel Bittner

My eyes lit up when i saw this but unfotunately I would be paying more in shipping that youd get for your wrench... Perks of living down in Aus i guess. However, love your work regardless so ill throw a bit of cash at you anyways. Keep it up!

I was thrilled to place Order #00002 while helping the kids make mother's day breakfast on Sunday. The shipping cost is very reasonable considering the number of moose it will take to transport all those wrenches out of the great north. Fantastic work good sir!

Ben Ezzell

It's tough to get it down. Shipping over the border is brutal. I am working on it though.

Hand Tool Rescue

Ouch, Dat shipping cost.... Meh. Worth It. But if you could get the shipping down when you make the rest of them that would be awesome Thank you for doing awesome stuff!

Clifton Ballad

Wow! Thank you very much. I hope to get the shipping down, but apparently I need to ship A LOT of stuff for me to get that discount. At least for the US, it might be worth it to try and have a US distributor as well.

Hand Tool Rescue

Hey man, I can't hit that buy button with the shipping where it is. I would love to have one, but refuse to pay shipping companies that much to cross a border. Instead, I am upping my pledge from $5 a month to $10 for the next few months so the cash goes straight to you and your efforts. Keep up the awesome work!

Seeing the amount of work put into making a quality tool makes this purchase really worth it. Great work on bringing this idea to life, truly remarkable work.

Awww yisss! best looking tool I bought in a while! Thank you so much for the ggod work, keep it up! Now if only AvE could get on with his flat tip screwdriver/probe/prybar/whatev tool!

Great job! It is good to see someone bringing awareness to those of us afflicted with square nuts.

I bought two, his and hers! I just got back from a trip to Vancouver Island, BC, It is REALLY nice this time of year. Good people, beautiful views.

David E Berry

Thank you! I should show King Dick. I wonder what they would think.

Hand Tool Rescue

Awesome, major accomplishment man! You're a tool manufacturing company now. Bet there's not too many left making stuff in Canada. I imported some King Dick stuff to NZ as a reseller a couple of years back. I assume they're still going.

Geoffrey Croker

Not your fault, but shipping being as much as it was I had to pass for now. When does the public sale go up? Might check the couch cushions again. This would such a sweet tool for working on my old bicycles. Cheers.

Brent Goodell

Bought two, one of each adjuster as promised.

No, they are different.

Hand Tool Rescue

Are these stamped with our order number?

Why did i sleep in today ?! Number 125

I'm not even slightly exaggerating when I say that tooling cost was just above $3500...

Hand Tool Rescue

That will be a custom modification you will have to make.

Hand Tool Rescue

Total with shipping was more than expected, but after watching everything you've done, WOW! Just the cost of tooling alone! I think it's a great price. I'm buying for many reasons, but alot of it is in support of you. Keep making videos that I can just sit back and enjoy (and learn)!

Jed Ashford

ooh - is it too late to update my order with a second one?

No drop down menu option for the bottle opener mod?

Anton Allen

100...

mmmm those rounded edges ~<3 cant wait to get mine. I'm also excited to see what can come next. and UUUUGH case hardening is so darn pretty. i wonder if thats the old way of doing case hardening on like the old single action revolvers and such. excited to get mine tho, #40~<3

Aaron Greene

#42 - the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything so when can I buy branded chocolate spread? Never thought to buy two and check the postage to the UK - DOH!

Awe Yeah, #102!

Yes, I will have to make those especially for the lefties!

Hand Tool Rescue

He's having to use global flat rates, unfortunately. And since he's in Canada (right?), that USPS option isn't available.

Ahhh. Why must I be a lefty! Lol. Ordered mine but it said I'll have to wait till July-September. :( can't wait though!

Andrew kelly

#83! Two for me!

Ouch -- $23 for shipping? Seems like it would fit in a USPS small flat rate box and ship for $7.

Steve Pepin

#80, never been this excited about a dang tool, let alone a wrench. Look what you've done to me!

Me too!

Hand Tool Rescue

I only wish international shipping wasn't so expensive :(

Tim van den Berg

#70! Can’t wait. Thanks again for the early access.

Travis Branham

Wooohoooo #67

Nick Channing

#51, and here I thought I was early!

Jeffrey R. Broido

#56

#55 here. Glad to support someone saving tools.

Jeremy Kearney

#49 and #50. Ordered 2 of each. They're going to make great gifts. Can't decide which I will want to keep. Good luck!

I tried my best to get that number down as low as I could for flat-rate.

Hand Tool Rescue

Ya, the shipping hurts...I have to do flat-rate as squarespace doesn't offer calculated shipping for Canadians. I was also told that I can't just wrap up the wrench into a small package because the shipping label is a certain size...therefore shipping has to increase.

Hand Tool Rescue

Numbah 47! That’s the lucky one for sure.

#36!! Woohoo! Can’t wait!!

was USD$30 for shipping to Australia, still worth it I reckon ;)

Paul Warren

Just picked one up, #38... Just out of curiosity, didn't you say that shipping was going to be around $18 CND? It just charged me $23 USD... If it needed to go up that's ok, seems high though.

I definitely want to do different sizes of that wrench, but it would be fun to do small batches of other things!

Hand Tool Rescue

#34! If this wrench turns out to be the success I think it will...Will there be any other HTR branded tools?

Just bought :) #00021

Just got mine👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Frank Yazzetta

#7 can't wait

#12 So excited! I'll be taking stuff apart and opening beers for months.

Brian Jennings

#22 (so slow without my coffees). Totally looking forward to getting one

James McI

#15!

Richard Thompson

I am sure that will be fine!

Hand Tool Rescue

Order #00011 confirmed :)

Paul Warren

Ordered! I think I've got two email addresses listed with my paypal so fingers crossed it comes up with the correct one on your end. I've put the correct email in the main form but it shows the other email address on my paypal transaction.
