At 11:40 in the morning, Edward led Keith and Mike into the school campus.

"You guys go have lunch."

He patted the shoulders of the two and smiled, saying, "After eating, go back to the classroom for a nap. The first class in the afternoon is a physical education class. You should join your classmates for some exercise. Whether you are writing a novel or playing games, sitting for a long time is not good for your health. The right amount of exercise will only benefit you, not harm you, understand?"

Keith and Mike nodded and said, "Yes, Edward Sir."

After that, the two walked towards the cafeteria together. Edward then turned and walked towards the teaching building.

In the morning, Katherine had made an appointment with him to have lunch together at noon.

She still had to teach Class 6 of the 10th grade with a math class in the last period of the morning, and now there were 5 minutes left until the end of the class.

Edward calculated that it was about time and then went to the teaching building where the 10th grade was located.

"Ding."

The bell for the end of the class rang. The students who finished the morning classes walked in groups towards the cafeteria, chatting and laughing.

Edward walked towards the teaching building as students came out of the building.

Edward responded with a smile, "You guys go ahead. Don't run too fast, take it easy."

When he reached the 4th floor, he met Katherine coming towards him.

"Hello, Katherine Ma'am, finished your class?"

Edward greeted her with a smile and asked.

"Yes." Katherine held her textbook and gave Edward a sweet smile.

"It's still easy for Edward Sir, not having many classes throughout the week."

Edward turned and walked alongside her, hearing her jest.

He shrugged and said, "Well, I am a PE teacher after all. Every day it's either falling sick or something happening at home, it seems like a streak of bad luck all year round."

He had PE classes for 5 classes.

Each class had two lessons a week, totaling only ten lessons. If the academic teachers took up some of his slots, that number would be significantly reduced.

He still got paid, and there were people eager to do the job. Academic teachers taking up PE classes, which school doesn't have that?

It's the same nationwide. The reasons are surprisingly similar. It's like a blanket statement.

It seems like all other teachers in the country are just paper tigers, with very poor health.

She is an idealistic and ambitious math teacher. How could she stoop to the level of PE teachers?

The two chatted and laughed as they walked towards the cafeteria. Along the way, students who saw them cast curious glances.

"Oh? Isn't that our goddess, Katherine Ma'am?"

"Wow. Katherine Ma'am is walking so closely with a male teacher, chatting and laughing?"

"They are going to have a meal together."

"Heartbroken, at this moment, I declare that I've been a lovelorn."

Katherine, as the universally recognized most beautiful female teacher in the school, is much better known by her students than Edward. Along the way, the students who saw the two of them were talking a lot.

Edward and Katherine naturally could not know what these students were thinking. They soon arrived at the cafeteria.

The cafeteria at Horizon High School is an independent three-story building with a large area. The first and second floors have more students. The third floor has more teachers.

In fact, the school has never publicly stated that the cafeteria is divided into a student cafeteria and a teacher cafeteria.

Basically, everyone just defaults to this distinction. As students, how many would be willing to sit with teachers during meals? Isn't that the ultimate torture.

Are there students on the third floor?

Horizon School distributes meal subsidies to teachers in cash, so they have to pay when eating in the cafeteria. It's not like some schools where teachers eat for free.

Dining together was just an excuse for the two of them to get to know each other. There are fewer people eating on the third floor compared to the first and second floors. The two found an empty seat and sat down.


Although it's a cafeteria, the variety of dishes and food is still very rich. In front of the two, there were five dishes: pickled fish, fried rice, french fries, scrambled eggs, and mushroom.

The portions were not large, but they were more than enough for the two of them.
"Hmm? The food today seems much tastier than before.

Edward tasted a piece of sweet and sour mushroom, chewed it, and looked delighted.

"Really?" Katherine tasted it in surprise, "How come I didn't notice? It is pretty much the same as usual."

Edward chuckled and said, "The most beautiful female teacher is treating me to a meal, so of course it tastes better than usual."

Katherine rolled her eyes at him and said, "You talk too much."

While they were eating and chatting, when they were almost finished, Katherine received a phone call.

"Oh, okay, I'll think of a solution."

After hanging up the phone, a hint of worry appeared on her face.

"Katherine Ma'am, is something troubling you?" Edward noticed her unusual expression and asked.

Katherine adjusted her hair and said somewhat helplessly, "Our team leader handed me the task of the math competition this year, asking me to lead the team. We have a total of 3 spots in Central City, all selected from math prodigies of various grades and then screened through exams. But there are only ten days left until the city-wide selection competition, and their results are not very ideal."
