Bigger Mac- Part 1 of 12

It's the Year of the Horse! You know what that means- time to raid one of the furry fandom's most notorious sub-fandoms for a year long weight gain project. For each month, we'll be doing a 12 part weight gain sequence for you all as a new effort, and Big Mac's going to be our growing star. Enjoy!

*************

"Now, you made sure that the Red Delicious are packed above Granny Smith, you know how easily they bruise— right?"

"Eeyup."

"And the apple pies, you know that they won't last past Rambling Rock Ridge, you know to push those first, right?"

"Eeyup."

"And the Cider, remember that the Cider is the evergreen product, we can sell it chilled in summer and then just make sure to throw in some cinnamon and warm it— slowly— over an oak fire and—"

Granny Smith felt her grandson's big hands clamp down on her shoulders as Big Mac took in a deep breath, the burly, musclebound equine giving her a patient, if long-suffering look. "Ah, I'm sorry sweetie, I'm just nervous about you going out all on your own for a year. You know that if you did need any help, or had any questions about our products, you'd ask, right?"

Big Mac gave his grandmother a warm smile, kissing the top of her forehead. "Eeyup."

"And you're going to do just fine, then, just fine. Because of my big ol' grandson, Sweet Apple Acres farm is going to be famous across Equestria!" Granny Smith had to stretch out on the tips of her hooves to reach Big Mac's cheek. "Now, you're hitting a lot of fairs, a lot of trade shows, just give people that winning smile and sell, sell, sell."

"Eeyup!" Big Mac grinned broadly as he puffed up his broad, meaty chest. The farmfed stallion was one of the bigger ponies in Ponyville, with thickly roped limbs, a deep chest, and a powerful frame— Granny Smith seemed to think those were all assets that would draw in potential clients if they could see how healthy and strong those apples made the family.

He left Granny Smith with one more kiss before he walked out to the central yard, walking up to a massive wagon laden with everything the family made with their apples— apple pies, tarts, fritters, cider, apple butter, and more. A whole year out on the road, going out to local fairs and harvest festivals, and hopefully lock in a lot of new buyers. Big Mac believed in practical and frugal work, so he was going to do the whole thing, on his own, and even draw the wagon himself— he was the biggest and strongest work horse around, after all.

As he pulled the harness over his broad shoulders, Big Mac waved to Applejack, his oldest sister. She jogged over, the long blond braids of her mane bouncing. "Hey! There you are. I was hoping to catch you before you left, just wanted to wish you good luck, big guy!" She gave him a quick hug. "I know we had a big goodbye dinner last night, but seriously, thanks again for taking this off me— I've been so busy with everything, it would mess up the whole year for me."

"Eeyup!" Big Mac said with a broad smile.

"Honestly, this is a little embarrassing, but… there's one other reason I didn't want to do this. So, last time I made this circuit, I kinda… put on a ton of weight. I mean— when your diet's solely apple pies and apple fritters, it all tends to go to the same places, y'know?" She patted her hips. "Anyways— thanks, there's this big party Rarity's takin' us to in a few months, and I did not want to have to explain to her why I couldn't fit into my dresses anymore. You, though, with your luck it'll probably all turn to muscle by the time you come back."

Big Mac smirked smugly, arching his brow as he flexed his arm, his bicep swelling up mightily. "Eeyup. Oof!"

Applejack delivered a quick punch to his side. "Yeah, that's for puttin' on airs." She winked, giving him one last hug. "Good luck out there!"

Big Mac rubbed his side, then rolled his broad shoulders as he picked up the harness again and began dragging the wagon out— put on weight? With pulling the whole wagon and working at every stop, where would he even find the time to overeat?
