Steele had been through a tough year; after spending almost his entire life as the top dog of Nome, Alaska, a half-breed mutt living on the outskirts of town had come in, snaked his title, and unfairly ruined his reputation. Sure, Steele had gotten a little carried away with his naturally competitive nature, but apparently all the hard work he had done for this podunk town over the years didn't amount to jack. He was a thoroughbred husky that had a champion's body— and he wasn't done being a winner. But if he couldn't find support in town, he had to turn to the one place a guy like him could find support— the internet.

Steele was sure he could draw in supporters and fans with a particular ensemble— his harness girding his well-sculpted, broad chest, hugging his muscular, athletic back— he'd have to beat back his new fanbase with a stick. Smirking toothily as he turned on the camera, he struck a pose. "Well, hope everyone out there's having a good night— I'm Steele, and as you can see…" He flexed his arms. "I'm putting on a gun show."

The husky's ears flicked as he heard the first few comments drop. "Heh— I knew there were plenty of people out there who had good taste." He glanced down at the comment page, and his smarmy, full smirk slowly began to slip as he looked over the screen. 

"Sorry, I ain't falling for that jawline again. Team Balto ALL THE WAY!"

"He's a little thin for a husky huh"

"I've used toothpicks thicker than this guy"

Steele's eye twitched, and he tried not to let it show. But already, he could feel the pressure rising inside— if they wanted him bigger, he would show them big. In fact, it was time everyone remembered who the big dog around here really was.
