Apollo's Rocketing Weight- Part 3

Apollo's physique goes increasingly pear-shaped, much to the dismay of many decorations around the island. Enjoy!

"Pah…" Apollo grunted, his heavy brow furrowed as he heard the groan of wood, followed by a series of snaps and then him falling about a foot and a half. This had been happening with increasing regularity, and he couldn't be bothered to be that upset about it anymore. "Yeah, Tom, bill me for it," the eagle grunted before the tanuki could open his mouth- naturally, he owned the bench he had just crushed under his bulk.

The summer was continuing to be unkind on the eagle's waistline- overly kind to Apollo, by the mountains of good food he had come across. Annoyingly, other villagers were intent on inviting him out to cook outs, concerts, beach parties, and all the rest- it was almost like he were being fattened up, with all the food plied at him. But that couldn't possibly be the case. Right?

The eagle sighed, running a hand under a fold of fat piled high atop his enormous belly, gently kneading it like it were dough. His gut rolled out, practically the size of a refrigerator, the lower heft pressing down against his trunk-thick legs, splayed at either side to make way for his gut. His tail feathers looked positively dwarfed by his enormous wrecking ball rear, the doom of many a chair and other pieces of furniture in the past few weeks, as the splintered bench could attest. Apollo's efforts at the gym weren't wasted, per se- if he weren't packing some serious muscle buried somewhere beneath all that blubber, he should by all rights be rendered immobile, but he hadn't so much as lost an ounce- quite the opposite.

But goodness, it was so hot out… Apollo hefted his enormous bulk up. He would think of something to do, soon as he found something to help cool him down.
