Apollo's Rocketing Weight- Part 1

It's summer, which means the perfect weather for ice cream and popsicles, which Apollo is about to find out suits him just fine. Enjoy!

"Pah… the heat is getting to be unbearable," Apollo grumbled, folding his muscular arms as he leaned against a tree. The eagle had been dragged out to a barbecue in the park, where almost all the other villagers were enjoying hot dogs and burgers, but the eagle couldn't even think about having a hot meal in this heat. He couldn't even begin to understand how someone like Raymond was handling the summer temperature better than him; when was the last time that cat had even worked out?

"Well hello, Apollo- not gotten anything to eat yet?"

Apollo furrowed his brow, glancing down to see Tom Nook. "It's too hot to eat."

The tanuki chuckled. "Even for ice cream? Come on, I'm giving the first one away for free to everyone."

The eagle dropped his arms, his brow arching high. "You're giving food away for free, pah?"

"Ah-ah, the first one is free. Trust me, I've got a new line that you'll definitely come back for more. So, what's your poison? Chocolate? Strawberry? Cookies n' cream?"

Apollo grumbled again. "Do you have orange creamsicle?"

"Ah! Very good." Tom Nook winked, reaching into a cooler and handing the eagle a popsicle. "Enjoy!"

Apollo scoffed. He was going to stick to just the one popsicle just to spite the tanuki- and then he tried it. The popsicle was very good- one of the best he had ever had. He finished it off faster than he anticipated, and looked after Tom as he started plying the other villagers. "Pah… dammit. One more," he grumbled, reaching for his wallet. Just so long as he didn't let this get ou of hand…
