Benjamin Clawhauser's Buffening- Part 2

This cheetah's starting to put the "power" in powerlifting! Clawhauser still very obviously has a sweet tooth, but he's growing into a whole other kind of big cat. Enjoy!

Clawhauser huffed heavily, curling his arms as he hefted up two dumbbells larger than his head. The donut-loving cheetah from two months ago would hardly recognize the feline Clawhauser saw in the mirror nowadays. It had been rough, grueling work- Bogo was not a lenient coach or trainer, and he expected Clawhauser to keep up with his own demanding routine, but the water buffalo was never cruel or unfair- and surprisingly supportive, always there at Clawhauser's side when he needed a kind word or quiet bit of encouragement, and the cheetah listened. How he had gotten this far, he still didn't know- some latent predator instincts mixed with an intense diet and workout regimen, perhaps, but he was transforming into something entirely new.

The cheetah's soft, doughy belly had deflated considerably, still a round, dense ball hanging off his frame, but it had hardened. His arms and chest were packed with hefty muscle, making him look more like a bear than a cheetah- the sort of weightlifter that was just a wall of mass and muscle.

"I, uh, still don't think I'm fast enough to make the required time… but I betcha I can make the obstacle course now, chief!" Clawhauser declared between sets.

Bogo snorted. "Oh, I know. That's why I'm going to reward you with a few donuts…" Clawhauser gasped dramatically, his eyes going wide at the thought, "...after you give me another mile on the treadmill. Hop to it, Benjamin!"

The cheetah groaned, kicking the ground as he lumbered towards the cardio equipment. "Aw, whiskers…"
