For the spooky month, we're going for a classic- werewolf antics abound with the world's worst bodybuilder turning to lycanthropy. Enjoy!
**************
The events surrounding the Blood Moon Bodybuilding Competition of October 1983 are some of the strangest in the history of the sport, with wild stories of monsters in the night, disappearances, and beastly transformations. For many years, the only facts were these: in the lead up to the competition, every major contender disappeared, seemingly carried off into the woods never to be seen again, all while rumors of monstrously huge, werewolf-like creatures plundering gym equipment and protein supplements spread throughout the contest. The competition was eventually canceled, but that didn't stop the rumors from spreading that out in the woods, a Mr. Blood Moon was proclaimed anyways, and to this day he will jealously defend his title. Now, we finally know the whole story, and it began with the disappearance of Davie Wilkes, easily the worst professional bodybuilder in the history of the sport.
Davie Wilkes barely qualified as a bodybuilder; his body was shockingly lanky, he wasn't exceptionally strong, and he was awkward with no stage presence- and yet, his towering, inexplicable overconfidence somehow kept him in the sport. After the qualification round, which Davie only qualified for on a sympathy vote to keep him from blubbering on stage, he was taking a long walk home in the woods, under a starry sky and waxing moon.
How the transformation happened is still a mystery- an attack from another monster in the night, a curse placed upon him from upsetting a bodybuilding fortune teller, or even an experimental, radioactive protein shake from a government research lab. Whatever the cause, under the light of the moon, Davie Wilkes was transformed. He grew taller and wider, his mundane muscles suddenly galvanized larger and harder, his body packed on with new, toned, lean muscle, coarse fur coating over each bulge and curve. His face stretched out into a wolfish muzzle, and his eyes glowed in the night. Every sense was heightened, and as he tensed his arms and his biceps leapt in size, he could feel his strength and endurance surge. But above all else, one instinct filled his mind: Davie Wilkes was hungry. Hungry for some serious, meaty gains.
