quick question

Okie so-- I want to make content that I personally would wanna listen to or would personally enjoy, BUT/AND I also do want Youuuu to enjoy as well! Historically, I've put little to no weight on how many "likes" my patreon posts get, but i thought maybe i should ask since it crosses my mind from time to time-- do you "like" a post of mine if you like it? like do you "heart" it? and if you don't, does that mean it wasn't for you? like are you trying to punish me by withholding your "like"? (that last question a joke.) trying to gauge if i should pay a lil more attention to that metric.

i guess in simpler terms i am asking: are you intentional about interacting with my posts, or not so much?

personally I am not a very internet interact-y person so I imagine other people are the same, but I am curious! you can also DM me or comment if you want to expand on an answer to this question.

hope you are having a good november so far!! and hopefully this post made sense and was not too convoluted. :}

warmly,

emma

wow that really, really means a lot to me. you don't need to like!! i just was curious

Seeing as how you have asked this question, I have to assume that these likes and "hearts" are more meaningful to you than I realized. I can count on one hand the number of creators that have ever evoked such intense feelings with their creations (you of course, being one of them). So now I am off to scan through your posts and promise to like the ones that were standouts.

i technically chose A, but now I'm worried I picked the wrong answer and just feel guilty af for not being more interact-y on here, any lack of interaction is definitely not intentional. I usually only heart something when I've actually listened to it. I probably would have hearted everything on here by now if I had the chance to listen to all of them, you just have alot of different stuff and i don't usually listen in a particular order unless it is specifically a pt.1/pt.2 etc., this is mainly just because of my own weird listening habits, but also because i like most of the different audios you make and my moods/whu tend to fluctuate like that. I haven't listened to all of your audios yet, but there are some that I've listened to multiple times. I try to comment on everything of yours that I've listened to, 99.9% of the time if I haven't it's because I forgot what I was initially trying to say and I prefer to say more than the "hot/good job/wow etc" becuase I think your work deserves more than that. Sorry for all the rambling, I've just had non-stop anxiety like maybe you'd leave Patreon and not tell anyone because not enough people were showing their support or whatever.

roswellsplace

I intentionally heart every single one of your posts because I want to show you my support, so in that sense my "heart"-ing isn't intentionally telling you whether I liked the audio or not... but I have also NEVER listened to an audio of yours and thought I didn't like it.....so....you can take all of that how you want lolol

Accretiondisk

srry for not being as active, I DM'd you :)

roswellsplace

I would say my active interactions are intentional but my lack of reaction is not intentional.

Option C — haha. I DM’d you :)

Sometimes I like a post as a reminder for myself which posts I'd want to go back to, or download after the fact. But outside that I don't give it much thought.

that makes a ton of sense! yeah i mean i'm definitely not out here like "smash that like button" and i don't have much expectation of it either

emma fielder

tbh when I signed up it did not seem like your posts were interested in feedback, you seem to just post once in awhile and that’s it, so I did not think much of liking or replying to anything

James

I enjoy leaving a reaction to your posts as well as liking them.
