2025-07-24 20:09:32 +0000 UTCneither of these 3 had agency practically. pain & sasuke were used by obito, obito was used by madara, & madara was used by the plot. taking out the being used part then only pains actions are justifiable. sasuke is just a bad friend. obito is a lunatic who went insane after his crush died. madara at the end of the day is just a sore loser. pain at least had not only his loved ones taken but his country to defend. naruto truly peaked at the pain arc & couldve & maybe shouldve ended there.

They're just trying to change the system their own way. Most of these guys are fighting for the same goals, just going about it in different ways.

He was held in captivity for years (edit: might be just months, my bad) as a kid by a creepy old man who had been brainwashing him ever since. The only thing keeping him alive and sane was the thought of getting back to Rin and Kakashi. And he lost that 😞 Yes, he didn’t lose as much as some other characters, but I think it’s understandable that he snapped — especially considering his environment. Kakashi lost a lot more, but at least he had people around him making an effort to keep him on the right path. Obito, on the other hand, had Madara… not exactly the best moral support to keep you from going off the deep end, lol!

I cried at a lot of moments from this stream- Obito’s backstory didn’t need to be that sad, shit makes me feel like I’m watching one piece lmao That Obito rage moment was so cold, literally sent shivers down my body The great shippuden rewatch 🤣🤣🤣 You said at some point “I feel like so many things are culminating and it’s very rewarding” and, yea, this is the end of the story so every question (that gets an answer) is starting to get answered, it’s a great arc lmao “Deidara senpai!!!” Was perfect, and idk wtf he was on when he was acting like that, but god damn he was hilarious as Tobi- Tobi is my fav Akatsuki member and I don’t count him as the same character as Obito because he’s literally acting So many good moments this video, let alone the stream- The flashback and the short flashback where Obito and Kakashi faces line up, and then it cuts to the present with their sharingan might be my favorite moment in the stream tho All the adults have trauma!

Of course back in the day the Tobi/Obito thing was spoiled for every Naruto fan online, but I've never actually seen these episodes from this arc before. Lol I could be ignorant but we've seen characters with far more tragic stories to accept his narrative honestly.. it was around this time in the war i was over obito Having said all of that, in the outro when Rin walks through obito.. thats devastating.. 😞

That doesn't mean I hate the rest of the story, just that in my opinion, shippuden peaked with the Pain arc ! BUT episode 345 is one of my top 3 favorite single episodes, the "I'm in hell" scene always hits hard. And ending 28 might be my favorite ed, I love the visuals 🥹. The whole Obito/Kakashi/Rin story is so great...

2025-07-23 18:23:56 +0000 UTCsafe to say the Kage have seen better days, lucky that Tsunade is so resilient :P finally we are learning the truth of the Ghost of the Uchiha :) another example of the easily impressionable youth being formed by the older generation, some were luckier than others :P its interesting how Madara first says that Obito just somehow got there but then Zetsu confirms he was the one who grabbed him and took him there cause Madara said so, which would make sense cause Obito didnt have the Mangekyo yet and Zetsu can travel through the ground, when Obito awakens the Mangekyo as he saw Rin get killed he got Zetsu attached to him, so his Mangekyo becoming this type of ability makes sense, now he can travel like Zetsu :) also took the Tobi personality from Zetsu, that was funny xD now it makes sense why he kept losing that white goopy arm so nonchalantly :) Madara gave a great speech to Obito here, he made sense, no wonder Obito was sold :) this was brilliantly directed, great visual presentation, loved how Obito saw flashes of what Kakashi was seeing as he was getting closer :) then the massacre was just a feast :D the iconic line "I am in hell" always hits :) after what Obito went through its no wonder he was all in on the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan :P nice lore drop too, now we know that the Gedo Statue is actually the Ten-Tails husk, which fits perfectly cause they are putting all the tailed beasts inside it to bring back 10-tails :) and we get to see how the manipulation of the Akatsuki started too, lovely :D what a plan Madara cooked here, share his power between Obito and Nagato who should then bring him fully back and help him fulfill his dream :) the origins of the Akatsuki were truly built on some honorable ideals, shame it didnt last, good things dont tend to last :P love the little scene how they came up with the name too looking at the dawn :) I remember stating that Tobi is Obito back when his eyes met with Kakashi's as he revealed himself to be Madara after all the trolling, that just felt like a solid signal :) its interesting too how when Minato faced him he didnt acknowledge him as Madara :)

It's reflective of the wielders personality, so they are pretty interesting as character insight. Especially for characters like Shisui. There's some pretty good YouTube videos about why each Uchiha awakens certain abilities. It's pretty cool stuff to check out.
