I read the manga I knew this arc was gonna be good but we're only two eps into the season and it's already incredible It's been a while since I read it but iirc the manga was pretty equally graphic though it doesn't have the speed it does animated so I think it impacted me more bc I couldn't help but look in horror saw evil eye Jiji described as Sukuna with the emotional maturity of a young child which is an absolutely wild way to put it ☠️

Not only are they telling the story as it is an enhancing it whenever they can, they are also making full use of the fact that animation is a completely different medium. I cannot wait until the peak of the first saga in Dandadan is animated.
