you cannot achieve greatness without David's youthful hubris about being "built different". it will destroy him one day, but it isn't today. I can imagine that the highest level of athletes need to have all doubt removed

2025-07-01 16:13:44 +0000 UTCIf you got back and watch that scene where Kurosaki is dying, after he looks at David and smiles, when the camera moves from David back to Kurosaki he's not looking at David anymore, he's looking up at the ceiling. Implying that David maybe imagined it?
