Fun fact about the opening! While it’s not a lot of people’s favorite, it came out only a few months after Japan was hit with a devastating earthquake and tsunami, so it’s believed that this opening and the last one were so silly in order to uplift the Japanese audience who would’ve been going through a very difficult time. It definitely doesn’t fit the tone of the events in the show but these opening are wholesome in their own way and I at least appreciate that about them, even if the song choices aren’t my fav.

When you really think back on it, it's a little out of character for him to tie himself down like that. He didn't really have an enduring ideology that kept him there. Deidara was similar, but he was young, brash, and just looking for a place to be a little brat. It made sense all things considered. We never really learn Sasori's core motivations.
