So the system didn’t manipulate this actually, he did this 100% himself on a whim of “I need some money and a reason to have this S rank item (that orb of avarice) short term before my official reevaluation to S rank” and that turned into this dungeon buy complete chance! Dudes just lucky lmfao The glitching was kalgargan or however it’s spelled was taking over the high orc in front of them and then speaking Korean (Japanese here since it’s anime)

2025-02-03 20:12:15 +0000 UTCBecause until he is re evaluated he is still technically E rank which means he can’t claim to be S. Also he says in episode 4 y he is still hiding his rank. It’s cuz he wants to be able to claim he found items while being apart of the mining team. He doesn’t want to fight he is there solely to mine so he has a cover story for where he acquired his artifact. That said I do understand what you’re saying but Jinwoo hasn’t put any of their lives in danger yet he has made sure only to help as needed so far. Also if u notice his comment in this episode when she hands him her will u would be able to realize he has no intention on leaving them in there to die. He tells her “I’ll hold onto it for u but hopefully that isn’t necessary “ which was him basically telling us as the watchers he isn’t going to abandon them and he intents to keep them safe. Again he doesn’t want to let them die but he also doesn’t want to overstep and disrespect them by treating them like they r weak and can’t do it themselves. It’s simply about respecting your position in the group and understanding that unless u don’t have a choice or r asked to it’s not your position to take charge and treat their guild like they r weak.

The enemy ignored the party's tank's Taunt skill and attempted to leap through to attack the back line directly. Then, during the fighting there was concern they might get surrounded. I'm not saying they were directly protecting Jin but they are aware he is there and are protecting the back line, as they would protect their mages anyway, but Jin's low rank, as they see it, does add a greater concern. The problem for me is that they are walking into a situation that the actual party doesn't have confidence in surviving. They are going to attack the boss and allow Jin to escape and contact the second team. It's a solid plan but they shouldn't be sending the strongest guy out. Jin should have spoken up by now and let them know that he's actually S-Class. Then they could make a better plan and actually have some hope of surviving. I assume Jin will help them anyway but, still, it would make more sense to tell them. He wouldn't be "stealing the dungeon", he'd be stepping up and saying, "I have some skills which might help at least some of us to survive this." He would be helping them. I get your point but I was more asking about why he isn't telling people when they ask, or when somebody else identifies him as an E-Class hunter. I genuinely wanted to know if they'd asked him to keep it quiet but I will go back to the previous episode and see.

If you noticed they kept showing the backpack, he was supposedly standing far away from the battle. They were protecting him by fighting fiercely in battle. And not letting anything cross far. Furthermore, if any of them died the higher likelihood the whole team is wiped resulting in the ‘E rank dying’. They protected him by protecting the team and fighting together.

If they were focused on him and protecting him they would have all noticed when he went missing and they all would have known right there he was the one who helped them. Think about it they can’t be focused on his safety while at the same time completely unaware that he disappeared. If they were focused on his safety they would have been paying attention and saw him go stealth

If he just goes in there and SRank solos it then it is a sign of disrespect to the guild by stealing their dungeon. He is making sure that he only oversteps as needed. If and when their lives r in danger he will keep them from dying but he wont go out of his way to clear the dungeon for them without being forced to or asked to. It’s a respect thing. He isnt a member of his guilt so it’s not his dungeon to clear. That said he also isnt going to let them die and when push comes to shove he is going to step in like he did in this episode.

Next up, I know some people have questions about why he's being secretive. The way guild controlled gates work is that you are essentially stepping onto their territory while not being affiliated. Just going crazy in there without some sort of nod that it's okay is actually a slight against the guild to a degree. He had to be secretive to help out since no one would believe an e-rank bag carrier is actually an unannounced s-rank 1 man army. Patience, dear anime only peeps. This episode marks the beginning of the truly crazy stuff that the readers have been talking about since day 1. And you're kinda lucky. Each episode is multiple chapters of manhwa a piece. Imagine the pain of weekly releases that took a month to get to the end of this episode. The agony is unbelievable.

The manga clarifies it; that was a regular orc, the dungeon boss (the magic user/curse master) was using magic to possess/speak through the regular orc (that’s what the eye thing was). The elf glitched and did a rewind because it was saying/starting to say something the system didn’t want Jinwoo to hear.

Stay healthy! I'm not understanding why Jin isn't telling them he's had a second awakening. He's been told that he's an S-Class hunter now, though he still has to return to the testing place to be officially measured. Was he also told to keep it a secret until they have an official measurement? I don't remember. It's the curse of having to wait a week between episodes lol If this team survives they're going to be pretty mad with Jin when he's announced as the latest S-Class tomorrow, if he hasn't told them by then. It's pretty dangerous that he's basically forcing them to fight with the idea that they need to protect him when he's actually the strongest one there. He's kinda forcing them to fight with one hand tied behind their backs when they don't need to. I really don't like him playing with people's lives like this but he is pretty corrupted at this point so I guess it makes sense for his character. They've really downplayed his corruption this season so I was worrying they had tried to forget it after viewer feedback or something. I'm glad they're possibly revisiting it a little. It felt as if he'd had a character re-write between the seasons lol

(also insomniac) while i have a few Patreon that upload within the a few hours of the episode releasing but theres 2 people like Flexie that i just enjoy so much more and can't wait as much i as i can't wait for the next Solo leveling Episode. so i am glad i was surprised to see the notification. (i have listened to the audio book and read the manwha so i am just enjoying looking forward to how Flexie reacts to certain things, Especially this Season not to mention Till season 5 to cover all the arcs.)
