The reason why she’s crying is cuz danzo has granted the order to take sasuke out, which means it went from retrieval to elimination, they can let a war break out between them and the cloud which is why they gave the cloud intel, to work with sasukes elimination.

She started training under Tsunade after she saw how badly he got injured trying to bring Sasuke back to the village. Her driving force in doing so wasn't Sasuke. It was her wish to aid Naruto (which is also why she decided on medical Ninjutsu). The issue with NaruSaku is that there is tons and tons of set-up for it happening but the pay-off just doesn't come. At this point in the story Kishimoto himself obviously didn't know in which direction he should take the whole pairing stuff. In regards to SasuSaku... Why does Sakura love Sasuke? Is it ever even remotely explained beyond it being a childish crush similar to the one Ino had? Their relationship doesn't have any set-up. And while I'm at it, why should Naruto love Hinata? Except for filler episodes (which do not count) she mostly has less personality than a pair of bricks. Try describing her character without using the word Naruto. It almost becomes impossible because her whole personality & world only surrounds him. There is nothing else to her.

Especially because it comes right after the pain arc which is what most people consider to be the highpoint of the series. I think this arc truly planted all the reasons as to why people dislike Sasuke and why many do not really care for him. His story is good up until this point, but it falls apart due to stupidity and needless cruelty.

IMO it shouldn't even count as a speed thing in the first place. Same with Kamui or Sasuke's Amenotejikara or Goku's Instant transmission (& they are not counted), only this is considered as a thing of speed idk why. If we talk about actual speed from displacement from point A to B, it's Naruto, 8 Gates Guy, Raikage, Sasuke, etc.

2025-01-30 19:48:21 +0000 UTCMy biggest issue with this arc is that Sasuke’s plot armour reach Super Saipan Blue levels and every other character became dumb as rocks. Why didn’t Onoki disintegrate him on first site? Why did everybody just sit back? And then when Onoki finally attacks Sasuke somehow survives even though we never saw Tobi pull Sasuke into his eye. I’ve read fan fictions with better story telling for this arc and they became more canon to me as a kid.

2025-01-30 17:30:06 +0000 UTCPersonally this is the part in the story in which I think Kishimoto goes overboard with making Sasuke unlikable. To me it all comes down to him being dumb. Sure, he does a lot of coldhearted stuff but it's not just that. He decides to go after Danzo *right* when all of the other 4 Kage surround him supported by some of the strongest Ninjas their villages got to offer. I get that Sasuke is overconfident and I get that he truly is strong. But this is just overkill. Imagine if all Kage went after Sasuke from the very beginning instead of them stupidly splitting up. He wouldn't stand a chance for even a second. What did he expect would happen? It's pure luck that he *only* needs to face the Raikage in the beginning. This plan was so poorly thought out, it actually is painfully stupid. Again, like I wrote in my previous comment on the previous upload...this could & should've been executed differently while keeping the outcome the same. It's not impossible to do that. It's hard to get hyped about Raikage VS Sasuke when you basically know that this is only a fight because all other characters (including Sasuke AND his team) are dumba$$es. Also, Sasuke treating his teammates like worthless toys is highly questionable to me. Even if he doesn't value them as people he must know that he would've already been dead multiple times if it wasn't for them. How many times did they save him during the Bee fight? And right afterwards he starts to treat them like garbage? Why? It makes zero sense. It's not just coldhearted but also very very stupid. At that point personally speaking I'm rooting for the Raikage to just finish this egotistical child of. Again, it's still enjoyable to watch. But there is a reason why the Pain arc is considered peak and why most people think it goes downhill afterwards. Downhill doesn't mean bad, just...not *as* good, you know. And I think Sasuke being dumb while simultaneously being coldhearted is one of those reasons.

2025-01-30 15:33:07 +0000 UTCSai is just getting more and more involved in everything, its nice to see him care so much about his comrades :) though he still needs to learn more about human emotions and how to interact :D Sakura now fell into an even deeper depression :P now she doubling down on the whole not being a burden promise :D loved how Shikamaru pretty much preached the Cycle of Hatred there :) some crazy reveals here, Ao got a Byakugan, Danzo stole Shisui's Sharingan, Zetsu just trolls everybody, Madara stops by to have a chat, its one thing after another :D this is also the first time we have seen a picture of Shisui :) now our trio knows about Itachi too, thanks Tobi :) dark Sasuke has well and truly arrived :P its pretty evident but the Raikage is supposed to be like a wrestler themed character, Hulk Hogan type :) Darui literally means dull so very fitting for his character :D he is pretty cool I like his look and jutsu, plus a nice big sword :) C is a sensory type like Karin :) love how our boy Gaara has grown, he has become so wise :) the Raikage is truly strong, both fast and powerful, got solid defense, the ultimate warrior :)
