PEAK INCOMING GUYS - HERE WE GO!!!

I love how much you care for Naruto ❤️! Being immersed in a show can make you feel what they going through, top tier reacting!

Diego Hill

Hey. Nice robe. You rogue ninja, you.

henuhre

You can’t tell me Naruto and Sasuke aren’t in love after Naruto gets his shit kicked in for him 😹

Daniel Lee

No, Naruto letting himself get beat up is utterly pointless. The Ninjas from Kumogakure do not give a fu~~ afterwards about this. The show treats this whole scene like it never happened similarly to Hinata confessing her love to Naruto during the Pain fight. Naruto never showcases that he learned anything from this or got smarter. That's your headcanon interpretation of what is going on. What we were actually *shown* is that Naruto simply put is just such a big simp for Sasuke that he even let's himself get beat up over his true waifu. It also doesn't present Karui as likable at all. What was the point for her doing that? Why would she even draw out her sword against Naruto? Just because she heard him mention Sasuke? That's such dumb reasoning. This whole arc could be summerized as the "people who are supposed to be smart acting insanely stupid"-arc. There is no pay-off to Naruto getting beat up. No scene in which he mentions "Oh, I learned that ... doesn't work by letting myself get beat to a puddle for my sweet baby boy Sasuke." Justifying dumb writing with personal headcanon is fine, but don't treat it as a fact laid out by the show. Because this arc is overall pretty badly written.

Lighto San

idk why but that little fight scene where naruto stops the guy from drawing his sword with his elbow is one of my fav fights scenes

FearTheBub

I think Naruto allowing himself to be beat up is a really important scene actually, I don’t think Kishimoto would regret writing it. The whole last arc, Naruto kept saying he didn’t know yet what the solution was to stop the cycle of hatred. So here, faced with it for the first time, he tried the first thing that occurs to him selflessly: “take it out on me.” It doesn’t work. Karui is still full of hate, Naruto is beat up, and nothing changes. The scene is a lesson to Naruto that this can’t be his answer to hatred.

RedEyeItachi

Kakashi filler is in the future just be patient

Sai showing that he understands Naruto pretty well. He didn't intervene in the beginning when Naruto started getting the snot punched out of him. He heard, and respected Naruto's wishes. Which no one else would have stood there and done...but the interesting thing is how true Naruto's statement about the cycle of hatred is shown to be. Sai, even though he knows Naruto is ok with what's happening, can't stand idly by and watch his friend get hurt. If that was his reaction just from Naruto getting a beating, imagine how he would react they really were trying to kill Naruto.

Alex Hencher

As for what Zetsu is, it's actually 2 separate people (black zetsu and white zetsu). they have there own memories, histories, abilities. any more info is spoiler territory, that you will learn later.

Again, I somewhat agree but you have to keep in mind that his decision also kept a lot of suffering away from his mother. Itachi lived through war and while his loyalty towards the Uchiha was probably greater in comparison to the leaf village he knew that *everyone* would suffer if he disobeyed Danzo. Not just the leaf, not just the Uchiha, but everyone. I do think it is the wrong decision because now Sasuke is basically the only one who can revive the clan with his gens...but at the same time, looking at the bigger picture (which Itachi did) it did avoid a lot of suffering. And sure, he does have a lot of power. But he doesn't have a lot of political power which is kind of the reason as to why he found himself in those circumstances.

Lighto San

I understand, but was that really the only solution? He had the power to slaughter his entire clan in a night, but couldn't do anything to make the Uchihas surrender. Also, in my mind you put family such as your mother over people in the leaf you don't know.

Evan Valenti

I agree with everything you said except the "You never choose politics over family" line. The point of Itachis decision was to avoid war. A war in which his family would've been involved in. He knew that if he didn't do anything both sides would suffer greatly and worst case scenario would destroy each other. So, his decision wasn't about family or politics but about keeping the suffering of everyone to the most efficient minimum possible. & @Ducky You are an insightful and wise beyond believe individual.👍

Lighto San

I love the akatsuki robe 😂🙌🏼

Nathan Babb

Agreed, Itachi is also irredeemable to me. You never choose politics over family. Also, how can people justify festering the hate he did in Sasuke. Itachi turned Sasuke into a viliain and against the Leaf which he killed his family to save. I could tell and confirmed that Kishimoto was never planning on Itachi switching until Shippuden.

Evan Valenti

ok

Not gonna lie, I always thought that right by this point in the story Narutos & Sakuras obsession with Sasuke feels extremely dumb. I get what type of story Kishimoto is trying to tell and that you should never stop believing & trying to rescue your loved ones...but by this point Sasuke is basically objectively speaking a big danger to the world. Like it or not, rationally speaking Danzo is correct in declaring Sasuke a wanted criminal to be killed on sight. Narutos logic is nice and all...but in reality logic like this is what can potentially get far more people killed just to save 1 soul. Also, they haven't seen each other for so long and Sasuke doesn't even show the *slightest* care towards them. Sasuke killed that guy from Kumogakure (the spy) and, to his knowledge, killed the 8-Tails. He comes close to being irredeemable at this point and sure, Sakura & Naruto do not know any of the details...but they presume that they do. They just assume that Sasuke is still the same guy who they had a very short-lived friendship with. But what if he *is* beyond saving. What if they are wrong? Honestly, the memes about Shikamaru being Narutos true best friend don't come out of nowhere. Like, why exactly does Sakura love Sasuke? Why *doesn't* she love Naruto who has always been there for her, fought for her and so on? She decided to train under Tsunade because she saw how badly Naruto got injured trying to fulfill his promise to her. So she wanted to be of more use to *him*, not Sasuke. It just makes zero sense and I think this is part of the reason why people claim that Naruto slowly starts to go downhill after the Pain arc. Naruto is presented multiple times as the force which drives Sakura forward, yet she still is obsessed about Sasuke. A guy who willingly abandoned her in order to train under a psychopath (Orochimaru). Personally, I still like it but I do have to admit that there are a lot of decisions I disagree with. A story purely driven by emotions can be fine, but if the characters lose rationality sooo much it gets kind of unbelievable. Important sentence: There are other ways this could've been written while keeping the outcome the same. And honestly, Naruto letting himself get beat up for Sasuke is a scene soooo dumb I think even Kishimoto himself regrets writing that. No, he didn't let himself get beat up in order to protect Sasuke. He didn't have any information about him by this point so it was basically him saying "I'm gonna take on all your anger and frustration." It's not even remotely comparable to the leaf ninja like Kakashi sacrificing themself for Naruto...especially because it didn't accomplish anything. Lastly, Filler doesn't count in order to justify canon decisions the mangaka made...filler is sadly basically just fanfiction and while it might be enjoyable to watch it should be treated as fanfiction. Hence all those flashback friendship scenes between Sasuke & others we get during filler? Fanfiction, sadly.

Lighto San

Danzo being the new Hokage aint that just a wonderful state of affair xD Team Samui is a funny mixed bunch, especially Omoi with his overthinking :D Danzo is just a hardcore politician, guess thats one of the main reasons he is so unlikable, even if we can understand where he is coming from :P Sai with that cursed seal on his tongue, just showing more of the classic secret service practices, its cool how they got this all figured out :) Sasuke really thought he was gonna throw hands with Madara thats a good one xD Naruto trying to put everything he has learned thus far to good use thats dope, he truly has become stronger in every way :) Sai has now become his bro you love to see it :) that ending was perfect, so sweet and wholesome :)

Kisame
