2025-01-23 17:11:12 +0000 UTCfinally we got to know more about the ninja cats :D they look so cute with those cat ears xD the Dread Lion seems to be a nod to Wizard of Oz :) Nekomata is actually a famous yokai in Japanese folklore :) there is also Bakeneko but thats a bit different, mainly with the number of tails, Nekomata got multiple :) the genjutsu Sasuke was in seemed to be inspired by Bakeneko :) yup the VA for Nekomata is Ryusei Nakao, appears in DB, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, also Yu Gi Oh among many others :) this cat episode also reminds me of the Ghibli movie The Cat Returns :) love old man Kosuke he is a legend :) he wears his title of The Eternal Genin with pride :) the enemy was from the Hidden Stone based on the girl's headband :) the only time we heard the 2nd Hokage was during the fight between Orochimaru and Hiruzen on the roof :) that Riichi guy we have seen him before, during the Chunin Exams he was guarding the wall, he was one of those who went after Hidan and Kakuzu, he was one of those who were outside the village when PAIN attacked and got impaled :P Kakashi and Hanare looked really cute together, would be all in for Kakashi love story, shame it wasnt meant to be :) was really nice to catch up with some other character, they showed us what others were up to during the exams who we havent seen in action, thats cool :) some Neji screen time is always appreciated plus Tenten ofc :D

I (or should I say we????) are only on episode 190 now, but I have to say - DAMN these are some cool characters. The old man, the trap dude, and the captain. And getting to see more of the hokage is awesome. I want more of that also :|
