Part of what makes this a really good anime, is their ability to push the edge of the ridiculous and absurd right up to the line, but never truly over it. Also Arthur's backstory hurts, and it completely transforms his entire character. As Arthur, he can only see himself as that scared, lonely, abandoned little both, as Knight Arthur he's carrying on the will of his father and mother, and feels like the MC of his own story. Perceived confidence over self confidence. Great episode.
