They really had it rough..

Everybody can learn the jutsu called shunshin no jutsu (body flicker) which is the jutsu often used by various characters when they appear or disappear with a little smoke cloud. But the body flicker technique is just a jutsu that moves you as far as you can go with your strength in one moment. Teleportation jutsu in comparison can bring you anywhere in an instant, the distant does not matter at all. You literaly manipulate spacetime with this one, which is why it is among the S-Rank, the highest jutsu rank for the most difficult and dangerous ones. There are only two persons known that can use this technique.

2024-12-31 15:39:23 +0000 UTCNagato is so strong and dangerous at that point because he has an immense natural chakra, thanks to the clan he and his mother belong to (will be revealed a bit later, so I don't write the name). Without the Kyubi Naruto would have a very strong chakra, even as a child he was likely twice as strong as adult Kakashi. But Nagatos chakra is still far superior to Narutos chakra. Nagatos enormous chakra allows him to utilize the Rinnegan almost to it's full potential at that point without special training, because he is acting out of rage and instinct against Hanzo over Yahikos death.

2024-12-31 12:52:00 +0000 UTCTo my knowledge learning the teleportation Jutsu is extremely difficult which is the biggest reason why the fourth Hokage was so revered. He mastered a Jutsu which was almost impossible to master for anyone else (especially to this extend) hence him earning the nickname "Yellow Flash of the Leaf". Orochimaru feeling pity towards the war orphans is extremely interesting. We have only seen him basically as a coldhearted creature beforehand. So him saying it would be merciful to kill them is actually pretty empathetic reasoning. It's coldhearted but also probably the most human thing we have ever seen him say. And honestly, during war times when the conflict & the suffering is outside of 1 individuals control...being coldhearted *could* be viewed as the most human thing to do. Makes you think how the war maybe had a hand in changing *him* to. Especially because Jiraiya once considered him a friend. One last thing I want to throw out about this arc: Hinatas big moment isn't really as big as people make it out to be. Naruto basically doesn't talk to her about it afterwards, their relationship basically goes back to the status quo. People claim it's because Naruto forgot about it or didn't really listen to her but if that is the case then her confession isn't nearly as powerful as it's presented to be. People also claim that it's because Naruto doesn't understand anything about love...the guy who is the master of Talk-No-Jutsu doesn't understand anything about love...I mean, sure.... She also isn't the only one who was ready to come for Narutos rescue. The thing is, everyone else who would do so wouldn't be able to view his situation. That's why Sakura had the Byakugan-guy sit right next to her, because she was to far away to see anything. Sakura 100% certainly would've come to his rescue if she knew the situation he was in even if their relationship isn't romantic. Anything else would be out of character for her. People also forget that the whole village basically was ready to die for Naruto. Kakashi would've come to his rescue without question. He was just busy being dead, sadly...And even someone like Ebisu was ready to throw his life away for Naruto. Sure, it's great that Hinata came to his rescue but people use this moment so much to downplay all the other characters, especially Sakura. It's not really a fair assessment of the situation. I mean, Shikamarus first reaction when he heard Naruto is fighting Pain is to try and help him. He would've obviously done anything he can for Naruto. We can also assume that Hinata didn't get told by Katsuyu that she should stay out of the fight because we don't see her interact with Katsuyu once. She doesn't even seem to be nearby Hinata from what we can see. Like the assessment that Hinata was the only one willing to die for Naruto is such an insult towards the rest of the village.
