The fight with Midoria and Bakugo always gets me to tear up, the VA for Bakugo, the way his voice wavers and breaks when blaming himself is just so... raw.... and even the Dub goes a phenomenal job with that. Therapy episodes are the best.

2025-09-16 00:52:46 +0000 UTCI absolutely don't think his mom is calling him weak because she thinks he IS actually weak, like little weak sh**... because she said too, that, he excels on everything he does, that he was gifted with a great quirk, she recognizes it, but everyone keep praising him because of all that, so I'm certain that she says that, to make him more aware of his environment, aware of other people, of his weaknesses too, for him not to think that he's a god or something... as a mom, I can see that point of view, it's good to praise our children, but not to make them think they're the 8th wonder of the world... he's still a teenager and he has a lot to learn... I hope I explain my thoughts correctly 😅

2024-12-16 22:37:43 +0000 UTCMy favorite thing about the voice actor for All For One is that you can hear just how much joy and glee being evil gives AFO. You can *hear* his smile with every word, and just like All Might, and in fact probably Because of All Might, he is indeed always smiling, delighting in the evil he commits. I will never forgive the dub for what it did to All For One specifically. Everybody else's voices are fine, but they sucked all the glee and charisma out of a villain whose entire character *is* glee and charisma. Unforgivable.

He should be kicked out and forced into therapy, or else locked up in a cell next to All For One, but since he's just a fictional character I'd be happiest if they just killed the pointless turd. He's not worth the effort it would take to wipe him off the soles of my shoes.
