Season 2 is going to knock your socks off. As for how fast the show is going time-wise the manga is SLOW. Like if it was a slow burn it would be classified as absolute zero. As long as you're having fun with the family and their shenanigans it's a good time.

Loid thinks it's from cartoons but remember where Anya grew up, I'm betting she was subjected to quite a few experiments to produce her powers. Project Apple, that produced Bond, seems to have been an offshoot of her experiments and we saw what they did to him.😭
