Frieren is thousands of years old and sleepy and patient and loves books and to study :) couldn’t read a person or their thoughts if she wanted to. While Anya is a 4-5yo little ball of energy that can literally read minds, hates to study, and has her parents and little Damien totally wrapped around her finger :)

He's also in Aot and Vinland Saga. He's got such a good range, can switch instantly between softness and intensity. Got such a hilarious delivery too.

2024-10-13 16:57:16 +0000 UTCAnytime a character arrives that knocks Loid off of his kilter I just love it. He's so cool, calm and collected that seeing him stressed out is so funny. Poor man has stomach ulcers but we get to laugh a little at his misery so it's okay.

What Anya actually said was something like "A strong chihuahua?" in Japanese (thus the buff dog), which was a pun on how "knowledge is power" sounds in Japanese. The manga translation is closer; Yuri in the manga says, "Knowledge is everything. It's the whole enchilada." and Anya is like, "Knowledge is... a swole chihuahua? lol.
