Frieren, in the anime at least, has never made illusions to being much older than 1000 years. I'd actually put her between 1300, and 1500, to account for her age before Flamme found her. The age of mythology to her is obviously still more legend then it is history. Kraft on the other hand is old. He has the old eyes of someone's whose been there, back again, and back back again. Where Frieren is still coming to terms, Kraft has long since made peace.

Flamme is the picture perfect representation of an Ancient Greek sorceress. Hecate or Callipso come most firmly to mind.

"Everyone who knew of my righteous triumphs has died."
-- Kraft the Monk
One of my five favorite quotes from Season 1.
Thank you for another fun reaction.

Catching up on reactions, hellos :3 Haha, the "Am I gonna cry today?" bit, I laughed because it's so relatable with this series xD The end part in discussions, where you mentioned wanting to see what the past looks like. That one flashback with Flamme and Frieren in the human town/city (during last episode, I believe), it looked like ancient Greece compared to what we see in the current timeline. Fascinating! :3

I think the music for the time lapse of them rebuilding the town might be my favourite for the whole show, I don't know what it is about it, but it just puts me in my feels.

I think Stark stating how strong Kraft looked and assuming he was well trained and a big deal right away was really interesting too - Stark's like wow this guy isn't some normal old monk

The only indication of her age we have so far is ''over a 1000 years'', which implies but not confirm she is likely around just over that age.
Also we just don't know how they age. They could age to maturity at the same rate as human and then stop aging.

Regarding the age of our two elves, I almost want to say that every 100 years for elves is the equivalent of 1 year of a human appearance wise. So my guess would be that Frieren is anywhere between 1800~2200 years old (to account for her appearance before Flamme and the thousand years timeskip). While Kraft is in his 4000's.
What's also interesting is that Frieren mentions "Excluding the age of mythology, the Goddess of Creation has not shown herself once in the long history of this world". Does that mean that she has confirmed to have shown up atleast once? Based on her appearance, she was a winged elf. So maybe only the elves (and possibly demons) have confirmed and recorded her existence at one point? Just how long ago was the age of mythology? I can talk about the lore behind the world Frieren built for hours I feel like. Haha

Well we learn why she's so socially awkward, but in the effort of not spoiling I'll just state that it's not because of the elven age difference. More so, it is their life experiences

“You’re young” he said to a 1000+ year old elf.
How old indeed.
To look at Frieren I’d say she’s the elven equivalent of a mid teen. This guy, looks like mid to late 30’s if he were human. So I’m guessing 5000 years at least. And that’s not a spoiler, that’s me guessing based on appearances and maturity

With this episode we learn that Heiter was the one that taught Fern how to control and suppress her mana constantly. He praised Frieren for it and made sure to pass on the knowledge.
Also Kraft really shows that Frieren is just awkward and that Elves can be emotionally intelligent. Probably just takes a very very very long time to
