I am just rewatching this reaction and I realized that when Anya was experimented on she was test subject 007, and when Bond was experimented on, he was test subject 008! not the same tests and doctors probably but still...

2025-06-06 01:45:17 +0000 UTCLike people said - it's just "Spy Family". X is an indicator to separate words and since it became popular you see it everywhere. IDK how much you know about spycraft. There are obviously things that don't or didn't exist back then (it's a bit like late 70's Cold War - probably Germany, but it's simplified into 2 big blocs, which almost makes me think of early 60's SIOP and how US viewed the world back then). However a lot of the things that Twilight does make sense. You try not to harm those with whom you co-operate, even though they don't know who you really are. But compared to fulfilling the mission, they are expendable. Assuming he finishes the mission (in reality of course), Anya would probably be put in a better orphanage or with some family after documents would be "procured". You cannot leave any trace of who you are. Such daughter knowing your real face would be a big risk. So you're either putting her in place where no one will ever suspect she knows about you... or you don't take any chances. And yes, it's terrible, but War is worse. Especially one between 2 nuclear powers or blocs. 1st world countries vs 2nd world countries would be a terrible conflict. And 3rd world countries wouldn't be spared suffering either. Yes, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd world countries used to mean in Western bloc - "Countries affiliated with US/NATO", "Countries affiliated with USSR/Warsaw Pact" and "Unaffiliated" respectively. Now this terminology means something bit different (And I don't think anyone uses "2nd world" as a term anymore). I'll finish now or I will write a whole essay on espionage ;) If you see this - please tell me if I should explain some things, assuming you don't know that much about espionage and/or Cold War. If you know it or don't want me to explain stuff - please say so. I don't want to push my fixation on other people ;)

I think it might be because your just started watching the series,So no one mentioned this movie in the comments section,I probably shouldn't have informed you about this Movie either. I thought you already knew,lol.

Her VA is doing a great job. I'm also really looking forward to the third season which will air next year,and also highly recommend your to watch the 'SPY x FAMILY' movie,After watching the first season in its entirety, of course.

Alrighty then, so first you are right it's just pronounced Spy Family, the X is silent lol, and secondly get use to the after credit scenes it's a normality with this series so always wait till after the credits they're very fun surprises to add to the reaction, and yeah Welcome to Spy x Family, our Adorable Anya & Dashing Spy Loid, I CANNOT WAIT FOR EPISODE 2's reaction, thank you again for reacting to it, This is one of my TOP 10 Anime Series π

There is TONS of little ditails in the first episode that goes overlook, like the fact that anya recognices loid in costume, before we the audiences know. And btw, episode two starts with the opening, skip it cus it spoils the mom, watch it after you finish the episode, I promise it will be a better experience
