When suo says "let's grow up together" the more direct translation of that line is "let's climb the staircase of adulthood together", and in Japanese culture "climbing the staircase of adulthood" is a phrase heavily associated with losing virginity. Then it doubles down with what suo says at the end about gaining experience. A lot of this gets lost in translation but there's loads of extra layers like this woven into the dialogue throughout.
