She's technically his aunt. Which is why he keeps refering to her in a more formal way, despite the fact that no one else does and she keeps telling him not too. Means Mai is also his aunt.

So once she shoots 6 times, the opponent gains a false sense of confidence but Mai can use Construction to generate one more bullet, which can catch the enemy off guard.

Also just a quick explanation of her abilities and heavenly pacts Mechamarus heavenly pact sacrificed his body for the ability to use immense amount of cursed energy at a extreme range while Makiβs sacrificed her ability to use or even have cursed energy receiving superhuman strength and other physical gifts I think heavenly pacts are such a cool concept KEEP UP THE REACTIONS WOOOOOO THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING CONTENT!
