Also if this show gives you nostalgia vibes, you should check out the original Mobile Suit Gundam. Its such a great narrative, with an extremely emotionally engaging commentary on war, brought about by the fact the author was 4 when WW2 ended, and lived through reconstruction. It actually predates (1979) Dragonball(1986).
