Sigh... change of plans.

So... the scripts I bought for $150 are just... not what I wanted them to be. I tried performing them but as a perfectionist it just didn't feel right and so I think I am going to scrap them for now and write them myself.

As a result, the Rental Boyfriends Series is going to be turned into a Patron Exclusive, and today I'll be posting an old audio (Zhongli x Tartaglia x Listener) as a public audio because it's too short notice for me to record anything new and I have COVID so I can't even record if I wanted to.

The idea behind the Rental Boyfriends series was that their real personalities (behind their paid personalities) would slowly get revealed over the course of their dates, with the rental boys eventually falling for the listener after they find out their "true" face.

[Bad Boy] - Jess
"Look. It's not like I got into this job for fun or for money okay? I just wanted to make sure I could make her happy while she grows up. It's not like there's anyone looking out for us, so I gotta do whatever puts a roof over our heads." - to Rental Boy Corp

The reason he does this job is because he provides for his little sister. He acts tough but he's into plushies, hair accessories, cute TV shows, etc. He just wants to be the best big brother for her! One day the listener has to give him a ride home, and they discover the truth behind his living situation. He's a crybaby and a softie because deep down he's scared of raising her alone.

"Don't you think it's pathetic? The way they need to pay for fake affection? My favorite moment of every date is the little flicker in their eyes when they realize the clock's finally struck 12, and they have to return to their lonely little lives without me. The way reality finally sets in, and their eyes go dead while I turn around and walk away with my pockets full. Its exhilarating." - to Jess

The reason he does this job is because he likes looking down on his customers, especially while playing the role of an innocent, air-headed, cute boy. Like knives packaged inside a cute little pastel box. He's a sadistic little dom brat, but eventually has his edges smoothed over by the listener as they talk about their lives - and he learns how important his job is to some people, and that you can't walk a mile in someone's shoes and expect to understand them. You have to walk the mile with them instead.

"I think people look at me and expect something I'm not - you know? And eventually all the mirrors convince you that you are that something. So instead of being yourself, you become what everyone thinks you are." - to Listener

The reason he does this job is because he wanted to go on dates to feel less lonely. Justin is a dream daddy. He's tall, handsome, muscular, he's everything a girl could ask for - there's only one problem. He's actually quite submissive and meek, and despite the air of confidence he puts on as part of the "show" he's genuinely insecure. He's frustrated with the way people expect him to act and how he really is, yet feeds into it by playing the assigned "role" from the rental boy agency. One day the listener tells him its okay if he doesn't pretend to be someone else during their date, and he breaks into a million pieces.

Long story short, the scripts were not the story I wanted to tell. It was a little too heavy handed for a slow burn story like this, and some scenes were too difficult (lots of location changes, lots of time skips, a lot of ambient noise and SFX needed) and it would end up being too much or jarring to have all these things happening in the short 10-15 before the sexy part starts. It just felt like I was stuttering through the script and nothing felt natural, so I am just gonna do it myself.

Sorry about this :( I just dont wanna post content if I'm not 100% satisfied with it, and the script just didn't feel like it would fit in with my other audios. When I listened back to it, it just didnt feel like you could listen and be like "Oh... this is definitely Luceiling/Harpy"
