2025-10-11 01:57:47 +0000 UTCI thought the same as Jason and thought this was just classic Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake. I didn’t expect some Rick and Morty-type adventure with Simon getting closure in his arc.

2025-10-11 00:59:38 +0000 UTCIt’s kinda crazy to think that it took 13 years for Simon’s character arc to finally be complete but it was totally worth it. Fionna and Cake gives so much emotional weight to Simon and shows how his choices are important in every universe we see. For example, Farmworld only exists because Simon stopped the Mushroom Bomb, saving humanity and preventing the Lich’s creation. But in that same world, Finn eventually became the Ice King for a while and froze the entire population. In Winterworld, Simon transfers his madness to Bubblegum, creating a fake happy world. And in the Vampire World, since Simon is dead, Marceline is raised by the Vampire King and becomes something darker showing how different everything becomes without him. Simon’s choices can shape entire worlds, and the only universes where he doesn’t matter are the Lich’s and the Baby World.
