Should I reboot Chris & Neomorph ?

Hey guys, 

These past weeks I have been thinking about what to do after "Urbosa's Quest" : continuing Chris & Neomorph.

TLDR : I'm gonna restart Chris and Neomorh, in a new project. To get a better story the whole thing is restarting from 0. Chris is gonna have a very different mind than in the previous story (she didn't had much to begin with, Chris is not a well defined character). So would you rather me reuse Chris or start a brand new story taking place in the same universe ?

Chris Hundak suddenly wakes up from cryosleep after a bunch of malfunctions errors have spawn around in the giga-tanker "the Golden Arrow". With the help of the onboard AI she starts to repair the dawn ship. However, during the repairs, she discovers that various access codes, cameras, and sensors are malfunctioning, keeping her out of big chunks of the massive space-vessel. Even the onboard AI is not answering to her appropriately... While she is trying to figure out what is going on, she soon understand that something else is with her, lurking in the shadows ...

This story would have :

• An ongoing space adventure with colorful characters, and more fleshed out world-building with factions, significant events, etc...
• More polls, and the choices of polls will have an impact on what the characters would be able to do and how the story progresses. In certain cases this would have a life and death influence ! This is important to me, if you want to take things to an extreme then I'll adapt to include it. I obviously have some things I want to reach and so I will orient the story in certain ways, but the polls will have a very dramatic impact on the evolution of the story. In fact I am already thinking about various wildly different outcomes to the main story-line all dependent on poll-choices !
• A revamped mutation system, with more complete effects. Mutations choices will affect several characters but also creatures ! So for eg. you will choose what Chris becomes and also what the Neomorphs becomes !
• A lot of creatures and possible outcomes: some characters might become mindless tentacular sex-machines, breeding stock for parasites, super-human bio-engineers creating their own species, queens of some xeno pack (hehe) and many more ...
• Relationships, and social interactions between people with various agendas and trying to deal with the onslaught of sexual mutations/creatures affecting them.
• The story will take the time to explore the mutations effects and we will see their effects on the daily life of the characters...

About the changes and the reboot thing 

So the plan is to restart when Chris gets out of cryosleep with no mutations and prior to the contact with any Neomorph. I want to do this so we can use the mutation poll and set up the way her story will unfold. For ex : if Chris encounters a bad guy in the start of the story and depending on how her strength would be impacted by the first mutations cycles then the confrontation can have very different outcomes.

>HERE ARE THE NEW MUTATIONS (WIP) 

It is important also to place the world correctly and set up the rules of how things work. So far Chris and Neomorph is a cheap story with no real structure (tho I started adding some in the lasts parts), so starting from the last chapter would mean having to deal with contradictory things that wouldn't fit with the new rules and create incoherences.

The changes : 

• Chris starts from zero and will have a more defined personality (Chris has accepted the job to flee from problems she has put herself into back in the center-territory. She is young a "space trucker", foul mouthed with a strong temper and just wants to be left alone. She has issues with authority hence her solitary job-position. She hopes that the new colony will offer her the opportunity to lay low and just do her life).
• More than one Neo (because why not)
• The mutations will lead to similar results as seen previously, but this time things will progress slowly and can be "unbalanced" (depending on polls Chris could grow a fat-ass and keep small breasts for a few turns, or the reverse...)

THE QUESTION : SHOULD I REBOOT CHRIS OR CREATE A NEW CHARACTER ?

Thanks for reading so far, I hope I have been clear. I will answer any questions in the comments of this post or on discord. For now I am still figuring out the details so I will do a more detailed and clear post later (with new visuals !).

I want this new story to be a fun and crazy adventure, doing my own thing and taking you along for the ride.
