2025-09-19 16:28:35 +0000 UTCI don't think you ever picked up on it, but there was a running gag in the early seasons where whenever a hippie died (the Popplers hippie, the penguin activist, the polygamy lawyer, ect) he'd do something like yell 'avenge me!' and the next member of their Waterfall family would make a cameo. So like when the Polygamy lawyer died in the Zoidberg flag-eating episode, the blonde hippie from this movie came out of nowhere and started yelling about how the patriarchy killed her Great Grandfather. The reason she sounds like a man is because all of these dying hippies have the same voice actor. The guy who died at the end of this movie (her brother) was the last of them, so this movie is the last time they use that gag.
