I missed those episodes it is so good to see them again ! Hey Arnold is a great cartoon. Craig Bartlett is really a caring dude. The subject of the episodes are always surprising and that's what I love about it.

2025-09-04 05:10:13 +0000 UTCSince it was the 90s, they had to be subtle, but you can tell Peter is Mr. Simmons’ life partner (possibly husband after 2015). I always thought the tension between Simmons’ mom and Peter seemed beyond just in-law tension but possibly her being disapproving of or at least disappointed about them being gay. This episode really made a generation of kids feel really bad for Simmons’ life and, for many of us, the family tension and sniping was relatable.
