So as far as I know Cubert Farnsworth, was not particularly well-received by many fans so they decided to not feature him as much in later episodes he does show up every now and then. This episode I enjoyed him more this time around when he was pair with dwlight it was fun little episode. As for the whole dog question yes they DO have dogs in the futurama. it was just they were studying dogs in 20th century which is why the episode is called Jurassic bark seymour was a fossil from that era. and the archeologists were trying to learn about dogs from that time period. Just like we wanna about humans of the pass as well.
