Oh man, I remember that Signal in the Sky music video. Cartoon Network played it CONSTANTLY during commercial breaks, even months before this episode aired. There were also a couple others, where they got pretty big name groups like Shonen Knife and DEVO to write songs about the Powerpuff girls. There's also another hero there with the wings, he's Birdman (also Hannah-Barbera). One of his shows was Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law where he'd defend in court Hannah-Barbera characters like Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, Fred Flintstone, etc. You might've known this but Warner Bros owns Hannah-Barbera like they own Cartoon Network which is why we can get all their characters crossing over.
