Just cause no one has said it here. I adore Steven getting up on that stage for Saddie. He rocked it and didn't think twice twice about putting himself out there. It's just such a fun character moment that always makes me smile.

That explains why when Pearl was trapped with Garnet and apologizes, she says that she needs someone to tell her what to do. She was created to serve.
