Early season 1 is a little rough around the edges but it gets really good. The first few seasons are a blast and I really hope you guys stick with this. Wouldn't blame you if you jumped around episodes (the simpsons has a pretty tight status quo so you wouldn't really miss out on too much if you did them in random order) but really seasons 1-10 are so good imo I wouldn't even be able to recommend random episodes they're all damn good lol

2024-08-16 15:28:48 +0000 UTCTo explain that ending bit, Homer had had a running gag of strangling Bart in the early seasons. If you guys watch episodes out of order (no one would blame you), the Halloween episodes are the most popular and aren't cannon, so things go freaking wild.

2024-08-16 05:40:53 +0000 UTCThe first episode only scrapes the surface of the show and I don't think fully encapsulates the genius/hilarity of the show. Season (later) 1-5 are easily the best and has some of the most memeable scenes. Season 6-10 are great too. Stick with it.
