2024-05-12 04:48:18 +0000 UTCThe original director was ishiro honda who directed godzilla. I have to say he has a hell of a background besides being a film director. He learned film making along with akira Kurosawa. Then ishiro was drafted into fighting in world war 2 by the japanese government at the time and he was deployed in china. Not only he came up with godzilla, he also was the one who first came up with rodan ,mothra and king ghidorah within the first few godzilla movies he directed. Mothra and rodan debuted in their own movies he directed and put out back in the day
