If memory serves, Enid was supposed to be a couple years or so older than Carl. And so, by the end of Rick's bridge experience, if Carl was supposed to be roughly 13, and she was 15, then after the six year timejump, Enid may be somewhere around 21. And let's just say that Alden is 30. That's really not too much of an age gap - especially in an apocalypse.
