I want to thank you and wish you a happy new year, thank you, thank you, thank you, for all your support! as for what's coming for 2022 we have several plans ahead and work to do for the extension of Reforma map as listed along with Esterlon;
*Phase 2 of Esterlon project, for 2022 for having plans to build the Route 66 to the coast, which will include all the progress shown before and over the new pictures of this post, an exciting mountain road in 1:1 scale, which probably will take you between 3-5 real hours to traverse the whole mountain pass, expect later in January the next update for Esterlon 1.2, currently this phase 2 is about 70%, I'm working hard to get this phase as soon as possible.
*Phase 3 will come eventually mid-year 2022 or later, which will include the coastal town of Ventura and some majestic ocean views cliffs based off the California coast and some Italy Mediterranean inspiration as like Amalfi coast. Will have to temporarily halt the project after phase 2 to give some more attention to the main Reforma mod, stay tuned.
*Additional for the Mexico map (Reforma mod) early 2022 we will have Sinaloa state completed with the help of Milton, the new project will include remodeled cities of Culiacán and Los Mochis along with the extension of Mexico Highway 15 to the north up to Sonora state. With your support here, I do also support directly Milton for his work over Reforma. Currently, the project is about 80% completed.
*We have started a new state in Mexico, which is Coahuila, over this year we will be working for the future connections for the upcoming Texas DLC by SCS software, meanwhile we have plans to develop ahead some of the inland connections inside Mexico, such as the cities of Torreon, Saltillo and Monterrey with the rest of the existing map in Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí, south of Juarez city anticipating El Paso by SCS. After Texas is released by SCS, we will make the proper connections in the border towns along the Rio Grande such as El Paso/Juarez, Laredo/Nuevo Laredo, McAllen/Reynosa, Del Rio/Acuña, so this project will be worked mostly over 2022 and probably 2023, depending on SCS of Texas release, currently, the project is at 5% completed.
*As for future US expansions, after Texas DLC is released, late 2022 or even in 2023 we will be reworking in full extend Interstate 10 Phoenix to El Paso in our "fine touch" of widening it more to be able to have more space for longer haulings and better interstate standards details such better banking, longer curves, remodel of Tucson, Las Cruces, and other locations, El Paso, Texas depending on how it turns out by SCS we will consider if making our version, or keeping theirs, or even making some mix of our work and their, etc, and don't forget the work is doing Pazz over southern Arizona (Phoenix remodel), which will complement this project. Currently, the project is at 30% completed.
*Also, we have to work on some adaptions to Reforma in California and probably Nevada (Sierra Nevada map mod) including the rework is doing by SCS, we will be replacing some of the cities if SCS does better, including certain areas where our old work was lacking details. So the new plans it's to make the proper connections to the remodeled areas, such as in Truckee, Redding, Elko, Sacramento, and other areas, the remodel of I-5 in Redding in our style and I-80 in Elko, I'll consider including the "dead" project of US-93 remodel, but depends on what SCS will touch in the future, remaining only Las vegas to complete the entire state of Nevada in our style.
*And of course... general maintenance of all of our work, Reforma, Esterlon, Mega Resources, compatibility patches with other map mods, everywhen SCS makes changes or a new version for both beta testing and general releases with quick response to update within a day or two after SCS makes an update, which of course is a lot of work but necessary for the existence of the project, doing this work is part of the monthly support you greatly provide.
So that's it!, the plans for our project, and with your support, I will continue providing more great content and updates to the map. I truly appreciate it, may this new year be a joyful ride for you and your family, here's wishing you the best! Happy New Year!
