When the heroes return, the mystery of Angus’s betrayal takes a shocking turn. Lightning Lady learns the mole was an alternate version of herself, armed with stolen tech and inside knowledge provided by Justice Ltd. With the Lethal Librarian’s cunning (and unexpected assistance from Lt. Columbo), the team works to clear Angus’s name. But even with the truth revealed, new questions linger—some stranger than others.

Lightning Lady and the Lethal Librarian return to a hero’s welcome...
Well... an anti-hero’s welcome...

Cassie Cruz:
The mole was an alternate-universe version of Lightning Lady??

Lightning Lady:
She got close to Angus by pretending to be me ...and then hacked his job board log-in.

Catnip:
She could do that?!

Panel 2:

Lightning Lady:
Justice Ltd was behind this. They must have given her the tech.

Panel 3:

Narration box (Lightning Lady):
“They probably used a tracking device to help her find Angus at the safehouse, as well.”

Scene shows the guy from Page 6, touching Angus on the shoulder.

Panel 4:

Lethal Librarian:
I suspected Angus was innocent, but I needed to remove him completely to fully exonerate him.

Cassie Cruz:
That’s amazing!

Panel 5:

Lethal Librarian (small panel):
“Well... I had help.”

Lt. Columbo, materializing out of a book (which is Lethal Librarian’s power), talking to Iron Dragom:
Uh, one more thing, sir...
What’s the deal with those little plastic tips on shoelaces?
